fun fact: yeri was always supposed to debut with the other girls, as most of us know, red velvet’s debut was pretty rushed and they basically debuted earlier (in 2014) to cover up a scandal that happened in sm ent. (Not sure which one tho) so she was never really added to the group, red velvet’s debut was just way too rushed and she was really young nonetheless

yes i think so too! i just didn’t include it in the video because i don’t think it was ever officially confirmed :)
Maybe it was also about Jessica SNSD and f(x) issues around that time, which meant all SM's active girlgroups could have some unpredicted feedback from fans. Maybe these are reasons why red velvet started their career a bit earlier than what SM had planned to.
I would say these girls faced so many struggles through their career since their debut, the deleted 1st version of Happiness MV, the delayed One of These Night comeback and SM gave them weird promotion(s) and SKorea was having national tragic accident at the same time, their reality shows that has never been on youtube, the Covid19 happened while they're having La Rouge Tour and all plans had to be canceled then there was Wendy's accident😢 SM also postponed their 4th concert and tour in 2022. So this year, since we finally have R to V tour, Luvies, please give them support as much as you can❤❤🎉
