She also loves chicken and once we turn off the lights she bring her cub the only thing is it barks She also buried food up the top of my back garden. Yes Debs. Got hedgehogs too. I started throwing chichen to foxes as they show up waiting for me 10ish. I used to put it out but since it was getting taxed by others I prefer using you technique as that way I know the foxes are getting the goods.

It's cool that the hedgie is comfortable enough to share space with the foxes, rather than be worried about them...after all, there's plenty of food to go around so the hedgie doesn't have to worry about being on the menu. :-)

Yes, but I have to be careful if they have infected larvvae with lungworm and pass it onto the foxes. So it's a hard one. But I have to think of the foxes as would hate a repeat of Biscuit 😢

In times of plenty , foxes will bury food , as a means to teach cubs to hunt and become self sufficient we know that. Chip, bless her , did the same last season. Yes, but I have to be careful if they have infected larvvae with lungworm and pass it onto the foxes. So it's a hard one. But I have to think of the foxes as would hate a repeat of Biscuit 😢

Maybe the ones who skip a visit are digging it up to eat or he has an extra large litter. Nature has a way to bring balance. Jimmy's compulsive gotta have it all attitude should end soon as his cubs grow up and hopefully visit.
