I was SO shocked when I first saw the mv, one of the most moving, evocative things I've seen in a WHILE. The storytelling is insane, I've been obsessed with all the theories.
When you said 'I missed this feeling' I felt that. Nobody can really compare to Taemin. It's hard to imagine other effortlessly doing this kind of concept/theme/genre. It could look trying hard let's be honest LOL Others can also try doing a 'sexier' concepts, but Taemin has like a different level of sensuality it's so hard to explain. And when others cover his choreo, I'm always like 'Taemin really moves differently'. he adds a flair on his movements

Taemin's Danger set his direction, his work on "Move" with the Japanese dancer Koharu Sugawara really levelled up his dance... he has worked so hard on his voice. I've been waiting for his return and I love Guilty. The Rizzness is also great..

Heard someone point out that they felt/saw/heard Move and Criminal within this mv. I went back and watched Guilty again and I could see Move movements here, not the exact movements but the feel, the patience before performing the move. Not sure if this make sense. lol

Taemin stays true to himself as an artist and performer. I have the utmost respect for him and how he is authentically himself in his music and delivery. I agree with you both that the direction of kpop has shifted towards more western sounds which takes away of why we listen to kpop in the first place. I'm so glad he's back and I can't wait to witness the continuation of his artistry.

I felt the same way when i watched it, I just had to sit there with it before i could even rewatch it, he's such an artist and he puts so much into what he does. I love that you can take different things from watching it each time.
Small note, his body is not from the military, he actually had very bad mental health during that time, and had to be moved to civil service, he actually gained weight during that time. His body is all his own work after leaving the military.
