I was building my bike with you but I had an another bike that I bought built. So I follow u and looking at my other bike. That long piece of metal that you didn’t used, it is the front brake lines. Before you put the front brake. You add that line in the same hole as the fender. I was following you and when I saw those extra pieces, I looked at my other bike and saw brake lines. If you look under the handle bar you will see tiny hole on each side. Right of left brake. If a person said they can’t do this bike, even watching you, must be dumb or has some huge hand cause those screw are very small. I’m an amputee, I only have 1 hand and I built it, With your help. It was fun hanging out with you.
Well done. We looked at the whole video after putting ours together. Gotta say, we had the same challenges and smiled, laughed and done a goggle box on your video while watching. Thank you
I'm so glad I could help a little, lovely little thing, but definitely need the extra effort to get it right. Now you have informed me about the little extra fiddling, and you can get the wheel to go round. I may have to go back to it to see what I can do. Thanks for the feedback, cheerd me up 👍
Manged to do this thanks to your video, but jesus it's fiddly !! Also it's so hard to screw the screws in fully! But thanks to you i got thru it😅 even if my light and front brakes aren't on, who needs em 😂😂
That's awesome 👌 glad I was off some help. The instructions were awful, but such a great little model!! One of the best gifts from the wife and kept me bust for 40 minutes 🤣 thanks for the comment. Take care, pal 👍
Blimey! I was bought one of these as a present and given that the package says 'Not suitable for children under 3 years of age', I thought that it would be relatively simple. then I looked at the instructions... 😗 they are absolutely awful! Basically, connect one amorphous blob to another. I think that I connected up the back wheel assembly about half a dozen times, because I'd missed something out (that wasn't made clear), or because things were wrongly labelled. Had it not been for your video and the Amazon page, which has some useful photos of the finished article, I don't think that I'd have ever finished it! Also, I had two front wheels in my set, so had to improvise (glue) a bit. Having said that, it's a good-looking item and made out of good materials. I was consoled when, in your video, you said that you were going to ignore the instructions, as that's what I found that I had to do. too. 'Fiddly' doesn't begin to describe it! Many thanks for posting this video - it was a terrific help! 🚲🚲🚲
@fishkettle586 I love your comment, and 100% agree with the set 👌 the instructions are balls, and I struggled as well, mate. Not easy at all glad I can share in the pain and be with you on the journey. How did it work out. In the end?
@@BikeShedBoyIt worked out fine, thanks, although I had four of the small screws left over... 🤷♂️ It looks good, once it's done. I've done some of wooden kits and they can be a bit intricate, but this one took 'small parts' to a new level! For what it's worth, I got a new exercise bike - a ProForm TdF 10.0 - delivered at the start of June and it didn't work properly. Engineer came out, but the parts provided by the manufacturer didn't solve the problem, so I'm waiting fir a second visit. I still have my old exercise bike, so can still ride, but it's not a great start to a new piece of equipment. Putting that together wasn't easy either! Thanks for the help that your video provided.
Pain to build as the instructions are not great but a pleasure once done! Now has a proud place in the bike shed. The wife is great at presents. I would say you know need one to match your bike! 🤣 thanks for watching 👍
Absolutely cool bike. I am not into cycling, but I love model building, and this passed the time. Great cheers. Happy New Year!
Thank you for watching, and I am glad it passed the time for you. Hopefully, 40 minutes of joy 🤣 have a great new year!

By the way, with a little fiddling, the back wheel will turn when you pedal

Thanks for that! Just into it and depended on your video to get me by a crunch. Going in to work on it again!
No worries 👍 it was a bit of a pain, but worth it in the end 100% it sits proudly in the bike workshop now, 👍
