Hey man how did you get the rear strut out? Specifically where you showed that nut being welded to the strut at 2:15. Having same issue and can’t figure out how to get it out. Great vid!
The nut that’s welded on doesn’t get removed. Only the long bolt comes out. I used a skinny flathead and a hammer to tap it out. Once it was out, I had Tino stand on the caliper to weigh everything down so that the strut would separate from the bottom. He had to kind of jump and bounce a little just to free the strut. Lmk if that clears it up
We ended up selling this Q around 3-4 months after this vid, everything settled in nicely tho, we’ve many brands and these are definitely a top recommendation 👌 we got some more vids on tein springs and regular rsr downs^
Depends what youre looking for , u can go w regular rsr downs if u think it’ll be too low, u can feel bumps n potholes more the Lower u go, but it’s nothing too bad

Aye bro i just installed mine and i have a little rattle in the back suspension is that normal or is something loose let me know pls and thank you! Also I did make sure to tighten everything good.
I’d just say double check everything, did you tighten the nuts on the top hat and the bolt that goes thru the bottom of the strut? Also, were there any rubber isolators that came with the kit that you didn’t install? Did you put the paper gasket in between the top hat and body of the car? Also could just take some time for the suspension to settle properly has the car been aligned?
@@BankReel there were no rubber isolators in the package and you know what bro one of the shock mount gasket things broke so i took it off could that be it??
Oh shit my bad, I was speaking for Brian. He has the RWD. The cars springs held up really well and it’s perfect height. Idk about awd tho, I just assumed he had the awd
@@fleichy6425 for suree g. I have a buddy with super downs on a q50 and stock wheel set up he said he has no issues had them on for about a year now. Guess also depends on how you drive too

Definitely worth it, lowers it to a good height but still a smooth ride
Can you do an alignment on them?
Also do they wear out bad on the inside? One of mine is worn bad with threads showing
Alignment is definitely recommended, but mostly all tires begin to wear from the inside

It’ll definitely slam at full weight capacity 😅 but for the most part they’ll hold up well

How many miles on the shocks because I heard they blow any problems?
About 60k. Lowering any car on springs usually puts more stress on the stock shocks…it’ll happen on any car.
How was ur alignment after
Alignment was still good no issues although it’s recommended you get one after installing to be safe
I have a 20 inch aodhan rims on my q50s the rear is 295 width do you think I'll have rubbing issues

Those are stock sport wheels, so 245/40r19, unless you’re talking about the wrx
