I was walking inside just as they started playing this song. It's from one of my favorite albums. I'll never forget it because it was the perfect song to walk in to the Taby. ✨ Those were good times with friends that I'll cherish eternally. 🤍
My metal head ass randomly saw these dudes in Philly in 08 with umphreys and it changed my opinion on jam bands and electronic music. Been seeing sts9, bisco, umphreys and lotus ever since.
Keep this dvd spinning in my car, such a special weekend for this run of shows..12/30/05 one for the memories. Love the old LED screen right there, that was hot stuff in 2005!!
I dont know when the last time you saw them was, but it is definitely still about the music. whether you make your experience about the music or not is your choice
I sat right behind their parents at these shows for years. First balcony, dead center, second row(vip spot) I always got free tickets/vip being friends of their friends but I'd always buy my tickets and miracle them to someone in need.
ugh murph was so much better......... murph was such a boss; watching him grow through the years was a treat ... he used to be so timid and then he turned into a cocky rockstar ha
Alana might be a better player with her technicals and on paper, but I am still sad that Murph has parted with STS9. It will never be the same without him. It's like losing a member of the family. Sure you can go on, but the vibe and energy has changed.
I wish I could relive this time period for this band-just like a dream
NyE in ATL 2005 is the pinnacle of STS9 in my opinion. For me.
Amazing couple years for sure. Did the Midwest dates Milwaukee, Chicago, Urbana. 05 to 09ish was my ish
Atl Athens were always amazing
Crazy to think this was almost 20 years ago
Girl shake the laffy-taffy
Boy that ad right at the build up really kills the vibe

God damn if this isn’t a clinic on how to lead a band as a drummer....and this is coming from a guitar player
Favorite version of my favorite STS9 song. So great. I love it.

Alana's skill on the instrument is not even comparable. Love Murph but she plays circles around him.
Luke Chamberlain agreed! Alana is the bees knees!
yeah you wouldn't see murph doing call and response with victor friggin wooten lol
