After raising hog on a Iowa pork farm for 20 years. I would say 250 is pretty conservative guess. I'm guessing 250- 375ish. 250 lbs is just a large feeder pig for market. This one is way bigger. Anyone else have a recent hog that they weighted in for comparison??
You need a tarp at the height of the pen walls and long enough to go all around to the opposite side while leaving the exit uncovered. Then he'll find the hole out.
Look y here let me try to poke this inside gate to stay open with a spindly rod. Then the hog closes it again. Then when i try to get the hog to go through gate into the pen i stand in front of it poking in front of it. Then someone else is in foreground that scares the pig from going in direction i want it to go. CMON HAVE SOME COMMON SENSE.
So.....its about the " money " not getting rid of the hogs !!!!! Taking it to a Hunting Ranch. And they leave it run......and it goes right back out in the wild blue country side.. creating more problems ! No Hunting Ranches should be allowed !!!!!
If you knew anything about them hunting ranches you should know that them dumb asses put them in a pen, they don't let them go and hunt them that would be stupid why wouldn't they just go hunting😂😂

If it were true......then farmers would do the same .....install fencing. So your suggesting that hunting ranches make so much money that they can afford fencing....compared to farmer that cant ? Something is missing here!

He definitely heavier than 250 probably closer to 275-280 I don’t think he would be pushing 300. Sold him to a hunting ranch west of me.
I feel that these pigs are still very small compared to the wild boars I meet in the wild. Wild boar can weigh up to 1 ton
