One funny interaction with Melodious is that Aria prevents BOTH players from targeting your melodious monsters, so you can't even target your own fusion with Refrain if it's up.
activating kaimen in mainphase when its the only engine card you have is just beyond comprehension..
i mean the fact it happened twice is
Maybe wanna bait handtraps... Who knows
@@jofx4051 with his only playable card ?
@@alexgalaxynexus Surely with Melodious hand that bad it was actually OTK though...
And he didn't even attempt to activate on BP kek
@@jofx4051 My reasoning for that was cuase if he has ash i pass which is common so i acitvate in mp to bait him thinking i have talents but in hindsight it looks bad
5:24 Imperm/veiler negates the whole effect of the card so those specifically and mourner work vs the fusion
But the card is unaffected correct so it should be whatever is up first
Nah, the activated effects can’t be negated. Once the impermish effect resolves the continuous effect of the fusion that says activated effs cant be negated are negated
@@Gradyboogers Yeah, stuff like ash/apo/electric jellyfish wouldn't be able to negate Bacha
@@yaredkokeb5362Ash can negate it cuz it doesn’t negate the activation
@@CrasH_Dx no it can't, Bacha prevents the effects from being negated not the activations, you're thinking of branded lost/meltdown those prevent the negation of the activation.
Melodious playing talking shit like he played the deck right 😂. What a bozo
Yeah, he relied too much on Harmonist combos when that's really only your auxiliary line if the fusion plays get negated. I thought it was cause he wanted to keep Aria on field, but he linked that off.
I wasn't paying attention at all when I clicked on this video and I was like "No way did this man just pronounce Melodious as Milleniumspring"
the name is actually pronouned milleniums ring
The melodious player that at the end said "you made lota of errors"😂 bro look at yourself you played terrible
I hate when someone says that you made alot of errors when you didn't ask tenpai player should of said "didn't ask."
How do you misplay with Tenpai? It’s one of the most helmet decks ever and is a one trick pony.
Tenpai player doesn’t know how to play the deck at all lmao
He doesnt know how to play the game
>High rated DB
>activates their search QP in main phase
jesus my dumb ass has done this too many times REMEMBER YOUR TIMING CARDS BOYS.
Get ‘em girls!
You see games like these and then wonder if "high rated" actually means anything at all if they can make it that far.
The season has started recently, you know?
I've been a few times and I consider myself a pretty average player during most formats. It's more or less time commitment.
start of the season its really easy to get high rated , also these decks at the time of recording were like 24 hours old
I think watching low rated games might also be beneficial, talking about what they could be doing better and what mistakes to not do while you play the deck.
I believe you can imperm it because that’s bacha’s continuous effect. Imperm negates the entire effect including bacha’s continuous. You can’t ash it though.
fyi the fusion is pronounced like “baha”, and in Sonata the emphasis is on the second syllable (the first ‘a’)
2:24 Bacha says that effects of fusion monsters cannot be negated
The droplet could not be activated on declaration of sonata attack because of the link 2 effect ...
link 2 was negated
Dbarrier says that neither player can summon in this case a synchro from extra deck, also negate the effects of the same kind of monsters while on the field so why would unaffected black rose not resolve??
Something to do with dbarrier effecting the player
D Barrier isn't an activated effect (whoch the field protects from), it's a lingering effect.
The only real missplay of this game was the way DB says Sonata
Conerto is pronounced CON-CHAIR-TOE lol
Kinda hard to follow the red players' lines of thought tbh. Weird decisions.
D-barrier isn't an activated effect? idgi. is it because the negate is lingering?
it effects the player. similar to daruma.
It doesn't affect the player. You are right, OP. D Barrier applies a lingering effect.
mirrorjades boardwipe eff is also not an activated eff for some reas9n
@@OsirusHandleIt is because the destruction itself applies during the end phase, so it is not an activated effect. The effect just allows you to perform the action later but it is not part of the resolving chain.
Imperm works on the fusion but something like ash blossom won’t from what I saw from melodious group
this is correct. imperm negates the continuous effect, then when the other effect of the fusion is resolving, its then also negated
@@TFCxSwagx7still don’t understand why the fusion monster doesn’t grant the immunity when hits the field
@@Nazzyyyy because that's not what the card does. it says activated effects cannot be negated. it does not stop imperm from negating it's continuous effect. After the continuous effect is negated, the activated effect is then negated when it tries to resolve later down the chain
@@TFCxSwagx7 so what cards can the fusion melodious dodge? (Among the famous ones)?
@@Nazzyyyy it still protects your other fusions from being impermed on their activated effects, a big one is it stops ash blossom on its own summon effect,***I LIED*** IT DOESN'T STOP SKULL GUARDIAN BC HE NEGATES ACTIVATIONS LOL
tenpai player should have won game 1 on first turn.. sangen kaimen on open field is game
Pure Melodious is worse than non-pure. Ostinato is a broken card tho
Melodious player must be new
Imperm and veiler work on Bacha. The passive is negated so the activated is negated. Ash wouldn’t work and stuff like Apolusa wouldn’t work
this is basically a low rated match lmao
Ostinato by itself ends on apo + vortex + rank 4, the deck seems way better as an engine in other stuff.
The melodius player was just going bozo mode
That's true. The Melodious cards should actually be minimal besides the main Pendulums.
thats if they dont lock them self into light effects or melodious monsters
melodious is actually so nutty going second
The worst display of really good decks xd
The melodious player is so toxic. The deck is so cool but the dude sucks to see rant and rave.
I played a unrated match with that bozo pre LEDE and it got toxic even in that game lol
@simonedeangelis655 shoulda called him a nerd and dunked on him.
Though honestly I probably would have called a judge for his attitude.
3:34 Tenpai Player can't activate Droplet because Link Harmonist don't let it.
It was veiler'd
Oh, that's right! Sorry
These tenpai and melodius matches are atrocious. Feel like im learning nothing
This the tempai dragon player was so sloppy and bad he messed up both of his imperm placements literally could have won both duels😢 . Rule 1 Always put in inperm in a pendulum column. 2 always put it in a face down column to negate whatever's there
lol whats the melodious players problem xd
Concert - O 😂
It’s pronounced cun-chair-toe
Him saying “Sonata”as Sah-ni-tah 😭
At 2:24 bacha still summons since it states that the activated effects of your melodius monsters cannot be negated
sad to see melodious cheated.
Tempai also did, they couldn't droplet the sonata on attack declaration because of the link 2 effect...
@@jean-philippegrignom6479I think the link 2 was negated
I can't wait for Konami to absolutely slaughter this cringe Tenpai deck. I want a bigger bust than SHS
u can imperm bacha because konami said so
its probably rly because u can imperm it to negate the continuous effect which, in turn, stops the activated effect lol
ye i didn’t realize that when i first read over it (FOR SURE DUMB THO)
Both played terribly, also DBG, if they imperm Bacha, it negates the protection effect too
You can Imperm Bacha for the same reason you can Ash a Branded Fusion if Lost is on board; you're not negating an effect activation.
It would be BROKEN if youre Bacha just couldn't be negated though jajaja
It's not the same reason. Imperm negates the non-activated effect of Bacha that protects the activated effects of Melodious monsters, thus negating the rest of the effects.
That's completely different from Lost. Lost prevents the activations of effects from being negated.
Songstress the S is silent 🤫
Both were trash, Tenpai was even more trash.
unfortunately pure melodious isn't great. In the ocg it's mostly used as an engine
The OCG has Electrumite, but yeah, maybe Supreme King Melodious will catch on in the tcg.
Pure just got 3rd at YCS Tokyo
This tenpai player is not good, probably wasn’t having a good day before playing this match
