  • Welcome to this video all about Impinj's ItemTest Software that will walkthrough Downloading, Installing, and Using the demo software. In this video we will setup and use the Impinj R700 UHF RFID Reader, connect our Reader to Impinj's ItemTest Software, and walk through the functionality of the Inventory & Tag Memory Showcases. Impinj's ItemTest Software, versions 2.6 and above has a new, upgraded dashboard, with more functionality than ever before.
    Checkout the minimum system requirements below -
    Minimum System Requirements:
    ItemTest 2 requires, at a minimum, a Windows 10 machine with Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6.1 or greater installed. ItemTest requires the machine have a minimum of 4GB of RAM to operate but will take advantage of as much memory as is available. Long running operations and/or operations involving 100s or 1000s of tags are likely memory intensive. For those operations 8GB or more of RAM is strongly recommended.

    When i am trying to read the tags after adding the reader(speedwayr420) i am getting an error “M_UnsupportedParameter: LLRP[398] ”. I think it is some error with LLRP protocol. Further I cannot change any configuration of the reader, the same type of LLRP error comes up. Can you please help me how to solve it. 4:41

    Hi, how can I enable TID reading functionality using LLRP interface using OctaneSDK

      Sorry for the late reply, it tells you how in the LTK Documentation. That link is below. If you go to page 23 and pages 177-178 there is code for customizing the Tag Report Content. Let me know if you have any other questions about this!

    Is there any tag with analog input capability like reading analog output from a sensor?

    • @atlasrfidstore
      @atlasrfidstore  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm not really familiar with any, but you might be able to find what you are looking for from a company called Allen Bradley. Sorry we cant be of more help, this type of tag is super specialized so we don't see many use cases for it!

      Thanks for the question - Can you let me know what you are doing in steps when the error appears? I can try to reproduce the error and let you know what is going on.
      Thanks!

    Could you tell me how to configure the tag backscatter frequency?

    • @atlasrfidstore
      @atlasrfidstore  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the question! RFID tags come pre-programmed to a specific frequency, so FCC (902 - 928), ETSI (865 - 868), etc. and that will be the frequency that they listen for and respond with. If you are asking if you can determine the exact frequency channel on that band - this might be able to be done with EU readers and tags. The FCC requires that all RFID readers operate using frequency hopping, but the ETSI/EU standards do not require frequency hopping. In the EU (with the correct tags/readers) you can dwell on a specific frequency if you have software that allows you to configure that. So in theory, if you were to configure your RFID reader to only broadcast on one channel you could ensure that your RFID tags responds on that same channel. Does that answer your question?

      @@atlasrfidstore Thank you for your answer. I am using the impij R420 to communicate with tags, while using USRP to receive signals reflected by tags. "I want to perform demodulation and other work by knowing the exact frequency (backscatter link frequency) reflected by the tag, but I cannot find the relevant configuration in the ItemTest I currently use."
