i use the secondary hard breach gadget all the time. often enough it allows zero or fuze to be a sort of all-in-one operator. good guns on both, secondary hard breach, and a method of clearing anti-breach all at once

Obviously yes you should be try aiming for the head level, and develop advanced game sense (something like learning knowing proper Jäger ADS placements, Bandit/Kaid tricking, or learning vertical play through Buck/Sledge effectively), learning good flank routes etc, will definitely keep you up there in gold. I’m just smurfing these days and don’t like sweaty matches and this is why I’m silver, but if I were a serious player, Gold is not at all hard to get, and maintain. From my experience, gold 3 is like advanced Silver, gold 2 is being stuck, and Gold1/Plat 3 is basically the same.

You can sometimes fuze the floor next to games wall and sometimes take out the utility (depending if its a jammer, battery, etc.) So bringing Fuze isn’t pointless but they definitely didn’t use him properly

Honestly I feel like ranks really don’t matter, for example, I’m in gold, and I think I’m a decent player, but then I see players get carried to gold/plat and they suck, but then there are some people that solo que that are actually good and get stuck in ranks bc of their teammates
Im fluctuating between bronze 5 and copper 1. I solo que on console and its awful. People rush and die and lose. Or they tk because you actually try to anchor obj 🥴

On attack they destroy every drone they see (even if there's no mozzie on the table) they throw frags without cooking them, they run into the site without checking (I'm talking straight up running without even having their guns aimed), they also like to go after defenders who are doing run outs on THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MAP (if they were in hookah and an a defender ran out at kitchen they'd go there). Fuze is very common in gold because the rank system is broken and new players can end up there with some luck having decent teammates. I think the “real” gold experience is gold 1/plat 3 but you might still get awful games. Also at least next season finally fuze won’t be a reason to judge someone.

i do it in ranked because when they shoot it then you know theyre getting hatch or theyre above so a nice sound call + there is not alot of places to use the bandits

I think being a solo gold player, it helped me pick out all the gold/silver players pretty easily. As far as copper/bronze, you already know when ur watching one of those matches.
There is also the fact that even if the player themselves may be bad, their calls might be on par. So when they win, probably because of their calls, they get higher then their actual ability

Rainbow should just rework the elo system like for example: "Loss= -50 Elo, Every Kill lowers that number by 5 and every death increases it by 5, for every 1k points it lowers by 5 as well, so if you loose a match, you have 10 kills, 5 deaths and 4k points your elo loss will be -5 and if you end up being better than that in the match that you lost you dont loose any elo, to keep it neutral since you made so many efforts to win the match that you cant possibly be the reason why we lost, so no reason to punish you." by the way: when people act like bronze but are in gold/plat, it means they do NOT play in EU servers. EU is the most difficult server to play in: every game is the same. Siege, Fortnite, Warzone... There are some places in the world (for example: Middle East, NA west, Asia/Oceania) where the average FPS player is just worse than the average EU FPS player
I literally did the same thing with a bandit battery when my team was in boathouse. I did it to troll them because they were all bitching because I brought bandit instead of Kaid. I played the majority of the match above sight and both ash and IQ rushed in and it caught them off guard which i was able to come out of the side hallway and kill them both while they were looking at it.

I remember once I tried to get a bad placements so that I could play with lower ranked mates, and despite trying my best to lose(without being toxic or deliberately throwing) I still went 5-5 and placed one game off gold, and thus could still not play with them
I can confirm showing up works. I got placed for the first time, top fragged once, won most of my placement games, and got gold. I am not a gold. They called out cigar and I said I don’t smoke.

Kinda funny because I was at 1000MMR last season and I still cook my gernades and use C4 pulse/impact cav, and never put bandits on top of reinforced hatches. Like bruh, where are these people when I'm trying to win?

i do it in ranked because when they shoot it then you know theyre getting hatch or theyre above so a nice sound call + there is not alot of places to use the bandits

Bandit battery on a hatch is a bad idea Bc you can hear them above you plus it’s a waist of utility
Is that one second earlier sound call worth the waste of utility whether that be a bandit or the option to pick a more appropriate operator. Not trying to tell you how to play the game or anything but that doesn't sound like the best habit.

Fun fact: if you reinforce the wall on the other side, it makes it easier to impact trick. If you reinforce the wall regularly, a sledge can destroy the breakable part of the wall and the thermite can plant his charge on the broken part in order to prevent it from being impact tricked.
Trying to play along I was looking to see who was on cams after they died assuming higher elo there are more likely to have cams up and people watching them, but the worst offenders were in the Plat match...

I remember years ago you could hide the bandit battery into reinforced hatches and basically, everyone fell for it.
I think being a solo gold player, it helped me pick out all the gold/silver players pretty easily. As far as copper/bronze, you already know when ur watching one of those matches.

There is also the fact that even if the player themselves may be bad, their calls might be on par. So when they win, probably because of their calls, they get higher then their actual ability

That cav was pretty much a gold cav poppin off by being faster than the enemy's thinking speed. Im ps4 plat3 and would say that he played like a plat that round specifically

Rainbow should just rework the elo system like for example: "Loss= -50 Elo, Every Kill lowers that number by 5 and every death increases it by 5, for every 1k points it lowers by 5 as well, so if you loose a match, you have 10 kills, 5 deaths and 4k points your elo loss will be -5 and if you end up being better than that in the match that you lost you dont loose any elo, to keep it neutral since you made so many efforts to win the match that you cant possibly be the reason why we lost, so no reason to punish you." "And with the wins its the same just that the base elo will be +50, every death is -5, every kill +5, every 1k points +5", that way players are actually ranked by their skill and not by only wins or losses and rng, many will think that way you rank in faster or get a higher rank faster, but it wont, bad players are at low ranks, good players are at good ranks and if a bad player dominates the low ranks and manages to reach a higher rank, then he will proceed to rise if he has become a good player, but if he gets slammed in the good ranks, he will fall back again. Its an easy, logical and good concept to make it that way imo

Or you're like myself and get the other end of the stick. You carry your team, are top of your teams leaderboard every game, but can't win games because there are at least 2 people, who are dead weight, going 0 and 6 every game keeping you stuck in bronze and silver hell... Maybe that's just my bad luck with solos. (but a 7 loss streak... Cmon that's just not fair)
by the way: when people act like bronze but are in gold/plat, it means they do NOT play in EU servers. EU is the most difficult server to play in: every game is the same. Siege, Fortnite, Warzone... There are some places in the world (for example: Middle East, NA west, Asia/Oceania) where the average FPS player is just worse than the average EU FPS player
I literally did the same thing with a bandit battery when my team was in boathouse. I did it to troll them because they were all bitching because I brought bandit instead of Kaid. I played the majority of the match above sight and both ash and IQ rushed in and it caught them off guard which i was able to come out of the side hallway and kill them both while they were looking at it.

Apex ranked you can just show up, the only thing is that you have to last. You get rp as you go so the higher you place the quicker you can climb

I remember once I tried to get a bad placements so that I could play with lower ranked mates, and despite trying my best to lose(without being toxic or deliberately throwing) I still went 5-5 and placed one game off gold, and thus could still not play with them

I can confirm showing up works. I got placed for the first time, top fragged once, won most of my placement games, and got gold. I am not a gold. They called out cigar and I said I don’t smoke.
