Now ain't this something. I just ran into this video just from random browsing. Never knew about this. I guess I should have noticed that Teto wasn't featured with any of the Project Diva videos. She may not be technically a vocaloid and is technically an Utau, but that doesn't make me think any less of this character. The story itself is something that now draws me to this character as it is reminiscent of the story of the Phoenix where it dies in flames but is reborn from its own ashes.
People tend to miss the fact that it is Miku singing at first, Teto does not even sing until more than halfway through. And then at the end they are singing together. This is not a rivalry, this is a cooperation. Some of the same people that worked on developing Miku were also secretly the ones behind Teto. And you can tell that in the artwork, the same artists worked on both of them.

Teto was from the moment I first heard her voice, my favorite -loid character, period. And that's even beating out my heart and soul, Gakupo. Yes, her voice is more... synthetic than say a more popular loid like Miku, but I feel like Teto's voice has always had so much more power and life behind it. Long live the drills! \o/
Please people... don't be sad if Teto won't be getting into Vocaloid. She's meant to be an UTAU, She carries the title as of like a main utau. If she was made to be a vocaloid.. the Utau version would be long forgotten.
