And we didn't even get to meet our union rep for RCA CARRIERS they never showed up so I'm not sure how to sign up with the union.

Honestly It's been a while I went through the process. I won't be able to give you the correct answer, but you were given a number that is your USPS ID.

it's YOUR password. like the one you used to set up your standard postal account when you signed in to apply for jobs near you. but as of January of 2023 you have to make a new password and use something called "Okta Verify" which gives you a code every 30 seconds or so, when you log in to your account, first you enter your new password (there'll be a thing telling you about the new requirement for setting a new password when you get on the site) (you might have to use your old one first to get the info about setting up the new one i don't remember) then after you've entered the new password it'll ask you to enter the Okta Verify code, then you'll be logged in.
if you're talking about your EIN (employee identification number) there should be an email you received from SSP that lists your EIN and all that jazz.
remember, this is the federal government, everything is complicated and nothing is simple
