Ive got every illustration rare, ive been collecting them since the pikachu/hoopa xy promo boxes that had the first types of these cards. I consider the first one ever is parallel city stadium card.
The radiant collection art rares are a little different as they exceed the borders a lot more and have different holo patterns.
Also you are saying yveltal correctly, its my favourite pokemon and ill have to get the paradox rift art rare in psa 10.
I love how everyone is finally realising how good these cards are.

Hey thanks a lot! Radiant Collection is such an “exquisite” set. I feel like that’s the perfect word for it. 😂 yeah the Art Rares plus correlating set sizes definitely makes for some interesting price movements most people early on assumed wouldn’t happen. Now people expect at least 1 IR to be really expensive each set.
Yeah I’ve been saying on YT and Reddit about the Metagross for the last month. I picked up 30 for $4 😆

I reluctantly bought a NM copy of Magikarp at a card store in March they had it at $65. Now they go for $140? Dang… also I ended up grading it and it got a 10

I snagged a eevee card for $30, which I find to be a good price. I don’t think I’d pay anymore. I love the art personally so I don’t think I’d sell it. Even if it dips, I can see it going up in the future for sure. Can’t go wrong with eevee.
We all know this card will be manipulated several times over the next year and probably end up being $80 a year from now. 😂 But for now, $30 is a very reasonable target

despite the hate OBF gets, it's got some of the best art rares. Ninetales, Gloom, and the Pidgey line are my favorites. Pulled the Yveltal two days ago as well from an impulse buy before I even found out about the rise. Going in the personal collection for sure!

@@MimikBrewlli enjoy your channel more than most. Swsh was so much fun to open in my opinion. My mom dropped off my og collection one day she pulled it out the closet right as celebrations and evolving skies was dropping. I ripped like a casino until Crown zenith released. I ripped about 10 cz Etbs and took a long break from Opening anything. That's when I became a sealed collector because the bulk & other stuff. All the singles, the binders, it gets overwhelming with no plan or direction.

Honestly $40 for that Eevee isnt a bad price. Its a bitch to pull. I def called that Chansey taking off and its starting to move. Pulling an IR is not easy and one of the good ones is even harder. Not many listings either. So I'd get that now if you dont have it already. Few others I think that are undervalued, Drowzee and Magby. My sleeper that could go up Espathra. While not a beloved pokemon, the artist cards have been climbing. Something worth keeping an eye on. Tons of detail on that card and if Chi-Yu (SIR) can double its price in a month than no reason that card cant. Its only 4 bucks so not the end of the world if nothing major happens but if it climbs to a 10-12 card thats a ton of profit to make.
Chi-yu and the Magby are 2 of the cooler red colored cards I’ve ever seen. The Magby definitely feels too low
@@MimikBrew For sure. Talking about an OG baby pokemon with an awesome art work. Its less than a cup of coffee these days. Idk many ppl ripping that set anymore either. Def a card ppl should have. I would have said Scizor too but a ton of the market. That is a 4 dollar card and the art is pretty crazy. Lately I've been trading in dupes picking up copies of all these IRs. When in a binder, these things shit on most of what Pokemon has done in the past. You can get them all for a few hundred dollars. I'd say thats a bargain considering the cost of one SWSD alt art.

I think that all of your analysis were correct except for eevee.
Gastly was the first banger hit that started the Fomo for illustration rare art cards for 151 pokemon. I don’t see eevee going below $40. Considering this also part of the eeveelution line up, this is the lowest point and it’ll go past $80 in 2-4 months

that magikarp is a little sus tbh. there are plenty of listings around $100 but all the sales are like 140-200. very strange. also i just bought that metagross a few days ago watching the price rise so that’s nice!

Alt alts are waaay easier to get a PSA 10 on than a lot of these chase IRs. I wouldn’t be too sure of that.
