It seems to be a boss battle medley, but since i don't play ff, I have no clue what bosses are remixed XD Oh, and listen how he threw in some Rhapsody of Fire!

What's really cool is that the song is, itself, a structure quote of Rhapsody's Ira Tenax/Warrior of Ice.

1:31 sounds suspiciously similar to the beginning of Warriors of Ice by Rhapsody
Really like the intense Neo Ex-Death theme mixed with Grand Cross (Necron) theme in the middle.
This would be the best final battle ever in any Final Fantasy! A battle in Dissidia style(in a wiiiide arena), with all the main characters in the screen, as well as the final bosses as enemies. You chose who you control, the CPU controls all the other characters(allies and enemies) and everyone starts kicking ass, with this song playing! How awesome would that be??
True facts. To this day, Neo-Exdeath is the only FF final boss I haven't been able to beat. (Well, I haven't beaten whatever's at the end of 13 but I gave up on that pile half way through.)

Man, it's got so much in it! Start with OWA, then to Neo-Exdeath, then some awesome Necron, and then finally Zeromus. Awesome compilation of final boss themes!
It's a melody blend. They ( he) did it as part of a finale show down piece. Un surprisingly it won. There are segways from several boss battles. Ff7 + FF6 included.
Good god... this remix of Neo Exdeath's theme is brilliant. o_O Honestly the best I've ever heard and most likely ever will. Especially the beginning amazes me. That's how a final battle theme is supposed to start! Great emphasis on dramatic effect and I also like how a fragment of Necron's battle theme was integrated, it fits perfectly.

I guess the One Winged Angel part sounded alright, but at 1:31... o.o
It's just so set out apart from the the OWA, and it just sounds so... awe-inspiring. I don't really care for the OWA part, but S.S.H. really made Neo Exdeath awesome. Even the Zeromus part from 4:30 and 4:52 is really awesome and fits in with this mix.
Fun fact! "One Winged Angel" from Final Fantasy 7 is basically the same song as Ex-Death's theme (Which is from Final Fantasy 5). This is a mix of both.
Neat fact about FF5, you can beat the game without fighting Neo-Exdeath. I forget what exactly the item is, but if you have a good enough Alchemist, you mix an item and it makes neo-exdeath not appear

The beginning is one winged angel, then it blends various boss fights from 5, 9 then 4 that I can recall offhand.

Yeah, you can technically cause the stone status to Exdeath and the battle ends there. It's just a really small chance to get it to take. It became a lot easier in FFV Advance with the Cannoneer class as it has a stone ability that has a high success rate.

one does not simply defend a piece of music based on emotion felt during a fight which plays said piece... if the music isnt good, it isnt appropriate to call it so.

one winged angel is a poor choice though unless you're relying on ff7 fanboys for publicity..
it isnt much better than dancing mad, which is outright shit. i never got why ff6 fans were okay with it. just because kefka's insane doesnt mean he has to have a theme that sounds like someone gave booze to a three year old and let them randomly slam keys on an organ afterwards..
