The access to the battery is worthwhile knowing. That is pull out the hidden key and use it to open the case. When you look at the low value of the battery maybe a wise motorist would buy one and leave it in the car.
A concern with FordPass.
How many people with young children do not allow their children to play with their phone.
Answer. Zero.
If you do let the little ones play with the phone there is a chance they will start the car. That in its self is not good but if the vehicle is parked in the garage and its left running this is now a serious problem.

Did you have to get ford pass installed or was it preinstalled ?

It already had the ford pass because I had the tech pack on the sports model.

Lame my GD 2023 for danger is by no means keyless.
I can start the truck without the key, but I've still gotta use the old fashioned rotary ignition

Yes it needs to have the ford pass connect which are available on newer vehicles. Check your settings if you have it. Then you can download the ford pass app.
