- New Zealand is cracking down on free campers and their alleged poor location choice for taking a bush poop. New rules mean vans will be required to have an onboard toilet.

Love the footage of the squatting campers with their pants pulled all the way up. Maybe that's the problem?

I camped on the side of the road in New Zealand Multiple times best thing to do :) or we stayed at a caravan park and got a powered site for like 10-15 bucks a night was a really cool experience
Won't find many camp sites that cheap these days - Holiday parks generally start at $50 per night per person, with a 2 night minimum. DoC However are 10-15 per night, as are GWRC camps. .
Now New Zealand has gone as far as to include "Racial" discrimination against VISA holders in legislation. OH and then there is the increase in the tourism levy from $32 - $100 per visit.
