My mom just bought the car today and it’s a good car the sport edition. Although it lacks many features. I wish there was a new design, automatic door opening side mirror sensors. Mainly and most importantly I wish the dam car had push to start. Like BRUH it’s a 2022 Top of the line car. How doesn’t it have push to start.
In Feb. 2021, I purchased the HR-V EX AWD. The utility of the interior is great! My friends could not believe it when I drove up in this little car, opened the tailgate, and pulled out an 8-foot step ladder. Passing on a 2-lane highway can get exciting, due to the underpowered 1.8 four-cylinder through it's CVT and AWD, but mpg is about 25 in the city and 30 on the highway. After one year, I'm willing to trade the AWD and sunroof for a power driver's seat with memory and a better stereo. For 2022, the Ins. Highway Safety Institute made their side-impact vehicle heavier and faster, and the HR-V performed the poorest crash score in its class. But all things considered, I wouldn't trade this HR-V for any of its same-priced competition. I look forward to many years of reliable transportation with better than average resale value, and pray I never get T-boned!

just looked at one yesterday and wow still using a key HONDA and the lx model has no android phone connection??? but on the Toyota its standard on all models and i think Honda needs to step up their game a bit. we did like the car and still thinking about the c-hr
You're correct, Honda doesn't offer android connection on the LX (base trim), but on every trim after that. The Toyota C-HR is a great possible alternative but only available in a FWD while the HRV offers both AWD and FWD options. Both vehicle will have pros and cons and only you can decide which is the best fit for yourself. Thank you for watching

I live in Iowa and going onto four years assisting the community with vehicle purchases. I haven't had a customer expressed any issues with the HRV performance in winter. I personally like the CRV more because of the size of the vehicle. Thank you for watching

Be careful, the 2023 HR-V is built on a completely different platform. I never buy the fist year model run of even a Honda. Let others do the long-term test driving. The third-year+ model run is almost always more reliable and with fewer bugs.
Solid review...Thanks. As opposed to folding forward, do the rear seats recline/lean back? Seems comfort would be lacking for long distance travel back there.

There are vents under the front seats that point towards the back within the HRVs.
