- This was the best day I had on our trip to the Daxin County area of China close to the Vietnam border. We walked into a Gorge where we were immersed in a Jurassic type of surroundings. The waterfall was 188 meters high and there were 818 steps down into the bottom of the canyon. We actually go right under the waterfall and have local girls sing and dance for us. This was an exhausting day but as I said my most favorite of the entire trip.

You need to visit a canal in the northern guangxi.
The name of canal is Ling Qu 灵渠.
The canal was constructed at the mountain side of mountain range linking two rivers, thus making transportation easily from both side of the range.
The canal was constructed by the army of Qin Shi Huang more than 2000 years ago.
Though the canal had lost its importance in today's world. But image the canal was there more than 2000 years ago and was at the mountain side.
