Well if we go off of a certain promo video for Deadpool 2 (ie the one featuring TH-camr Jacksepticeye: th-cam.com/video/oMCijY1XGlQ/w-d-xo.html) I think it’s safe to say Ryan had about as many alternate jokes for each joke as much as he had as many alternate jokes for each joke in DP2 (according to Reynolds in the video he had at least 10 options for 1 joke in DP2 (they talk about scripted jokes versus improve for DP2 at 5:15 in the video))
There were several original deadpool suits. Ryan took one home without permission, and they decided not to cause a stir and they let him have it. It was the best decision ever, he uses it all the time in his videos, best PR ever, and he’s never disrespected the franchise, character or the suit. Great humour without crossing the line into unacceptable.

I actually heard, in an interview with Ryan, that Ryan was preparing for Deadpool for practically his whole career, waiting for the opportunity. It started because Deadpool mentioned Ryan in one of his comics, Ryan found out, fell in love with the character, and started honing his riffing and improvisation skills so that if the opportunity ever presented itself, he would be ready. I don't know how true this is - but it's pretty cool. If i can find the interview, I'll share it.

I actually heard, in an interview with Ryan, that Ryan was preparing for Deadpool for practically his whole career, waiting for the opportunity. It started because Deadpool mentioned Ryan in one of his comics, Ryan found out, fell in love with the character, and started honing his riffing and improvisation skills so that if the opportunity ever presented itself, he would be ready.
I don't know how true this is - but it's pretty cool. If i can find the interview, I'll share it.
