I was/am feeling quite worried at the moment because I have exams coming up! But 'headspace', an app with voice recordings you listen to, has been a life saver! Its 10 minutes a day and a guy called Andy just goes through these little exercises in order to be more mindful and present. Would highly recommend if your feeling the pressure! Le Guin's exploration of different political realities is mind-opening and she's is a fabulously descriptive writer to boot! Xx

I have been dealing with a lot of stress lately. I recently broke up with my boyfriend because I felt that I was taking care of him too much (he's 22 & I'm 19) and someone for his age, he wasn't going anywhere. Being in that relationship affected my school work and my effort because seeing him not do anything just made me worry too much about his future and push my future aside. Now that we've broken up, I honestly feel rejuvenated. I feel that I can push through finals season as a first year college student. So thanks Jenn for the quote and allowing me to vent a little bit. :)

However, as I began to watch you grow over time through your attitude in your videos I realized how you have felt the same struggles that I have and even began to cope with them and grew as a person because of these internal conflicts. Your quote this month is exactly what I needed to hear this month with midterms wrapping up and my first year in college ending in a month or so. In addition to working towards graduating early, I am packing my plate with all sorts of resume boosters and sources of revenue and it came to the point where I stress about these things so much I can't even start the work I need to do for the week. The last time I had my hair trimmed back in February, my amazing stylist used the R+Co to give my hair a lil' va va voom volume. I fell in love with the smell & results, so I purchased one. However, after a month of using it, my hair somehow became used to it & unfortunately even started making my hair greasier :/ I was so bummed b/c that smell is to die for...but I hope that it continues to work fabulously for you!
I am the same way I worry to much too and I saw this quote that has also help me. It's based on buddism belief (no I am not Buddhist) but it says "You are a mountain and your thoughts are just clouds passing by" and it has really help me with my stress.

The last time I had my hair trimmed back in February, my amazing stylist used the R+Co to give my hair a lil' va va voom volume. I fell in love with the smell & results, so I purchased one. However, after a month of using it, my hair somehow became used to it & unfortunately even started making my hair greasier :/ I was so bummed b/c that smell is to die for...but I hope that it continues to work fabulously for you!

I am the same way I worry to much too and I saw this quote that has also help me. It's based on buddism belief (no I am not Buddhist) but it says "You are a mountain and your thoughts are just clouds passing by" and it has really help me with my stress.
