Use white distilled vinegar and baking soda. Let it sit in the drain for 20-30 minutes, then use boiling water (must be actual boiling, not just hot water) to wash it all down. It works better than draino, plus no harsh chemicals are used! It will also help with the stench. I’ve been doing this for years about once a month or so. No more clogged, stinky drains!! Promise!!
I love your kitten helping you clean and that your baby is not at all afraid of the vacuum. He's just right there like "whatcha doin', Mom?"

You may kinda try using the baking soda - vinegar hack ...its just that you will put soda in your bathtub's drain and then pour vinegar on top of it..so maybe it would help. Doesn't work always but as you got a lot of stuff out..maybe it will work...

Hey! Target has Clorox Drain Stick-2pk. It's a long stick with notches on it and you just slide the stick down in and pull it back up and it pulls everything up!! Hope this helps!

Hey! Just popping in to say if there is a bad smell coming from the drain in the sink, it could be coming from the trap (the U pipe underneath), it's meant to have water in it to trap the gases but sometimes it could just need a good cleaning and reset 🥰 hope this helps!

Same! But I don't live in an apartment, I have 4 animals 2 puppys, 1 cat and 1 fish, and have 3 kid's my oldest is 9 my middle is 6 (turning 7 in 2 months!) And my youngest 3yrs and I'm currently pregnant with twins!😊 it gets real hectic put I still enjoy the time I get because I have to work a lot! My husband who's a full time job Who works as a nurse is kinda a mess I also work on the computer and both my 6 yr old and 9 yr old have there own bathroom and share there toy room and we have a chilling room and a baby room for my youngest. And a work room where I usually is. Lol😂 I told you its hectic😬😂

I’ve always had litter box in laundry room seems like perfect space to me. Our house now it has has to be in master bath and I hate that but I put them at the bottom of our linen closet on the floor and we don’t have any issues. Oh my gosh that cat in the tub! 😂😂

I just wanted to share a quick tip with you on stinky drains and also it will help with the cleaning if you will take some baking soda about a half a box and then take about a half a cup of table salt and then also take some vinegar and pour on top of that it will fit let it do its trick for about 15 minutes for a little more vinegar and then take boiling hot water and pour that down your drain and that will either way the grime and also the smell it is life-changing you get hair built up down in there I do it at least once every 3 months to all my drains and it keeps them fresh and clean and it's cheap
✔ Allie love your videos very motivation and beautiful family. The smell is coming from what is called a P-trap. It's the white pipe under your sink because of the design the gunk just side in bottom and hardens and the when you run water it freshens it and smells so occasionally pull it down and clean it and on other times run some bleach in your sink no water for about 20 minutes then flush this should help but it's something you will have to always do. Hope this helps!

put some essential oil drops down ur sinks...thats what I do and it really does help
When my tub gets clogged with hair I use pliers as well, but I use needle nose pliers, they're longer and thinner and it grabs everything, gets the job done ✔
My favourite way to un bung a drain is to remove the plug and do the following:
Pour one tea mug of bicarbonate down the plug hole, same with salt, than pour over an entire kettle of recently boiled water. Let it all fizzle up, and if needed plunge once or twice with a toilet plunger. Learned it ages ago and has worked every time for me when my drain is slow or plugged up!!! 👍

IF the drain is still stinky try adding baking soda and white vinegar and a few minutes later with hot water. This will help clean out the drain pipes.

Liquid fire works amazing for clogged drains...I believe thats what its called. I never buy draino because liquid fire to me works so much faster and better.

You gotta go to the store and buy a snake for the drain. It’s like a long stick with a handle that has these spikes that grabs all the gunk from the drain. I have to use one all the time because I loose a ponytail to the drain every month lol 😂

As others have mentioned, be sure to check your white u-pipe (trap) under the sink for the smell. It’s fairly easy to take it out and clean. That was definitely the culprit when we noticed a smell coming from our sink. 😉

Maybe you should consider taking your bathroom sink pipe apart and clean out all the hairs in it. A lot of times there's a ton farther down the pipe where it bends

Hi just letting you know that cats water should not be next to their food it should be at least 6 feet away from their food because cats are prone to not drinking water and it can cause issues with your little kitten later on such as UTIs or kidney failure!
I’ve had cats all my life and have never had this issue. Their water and food are always next to each other. They actually drink so much water! All of my cats have lived over 10years, 2 lived 18 years. So not sure I believe that theory.

Hi Allie! The smell is coming from your P trap the pipe that looks like a U under the sink, just like others have already said. My husband is a plumber so that’s how I know lol. That part is meant to hold water but obviously other things could get stuck there too. He tells me and his customers to fill up the sink with hot water every once in a while and then let it drain all at once to flush that part of the pipe out.
Just FYI, if you ever use a drain cleaner like Drano and then end up needing to call a plumber after, PLEASE tell them you used it so they can protect themselves, it can seriously burn your eyes and skin! It’s happened to my husband before when the customer did not tell him they used it before they called him. Anyways, I love your channel, and I love seeing Penelope and your baby in the videos too! 💕
