    I love when you see the younger guys from all over the world coming up and asking him simple questions about maybe how he warms up or how he likes to sequence his pictures or what he likes to do during his bullpen session, and then the shut their mouths and listen so intently to imply that knowledge. It's cool to see that level of respect ,especially in these young guys. It shows that they know this is an opportunity of a lifetime to be able to play with a cy Young winner that has that kind of knowledge about the game. I feel like American players would think they were too good or too cool for the most part, I love how humble all of the guys on this team are. The videos are great as usual.

    I love these vlogs, the down time and explaining the comparisons from each league. As someone who's relatively new to baseball, it's nice to be able to learn so much, this year I'm suddenly consuming some sort of baseball content daily. its so weird, I'm 36 years old and I've never showed any interest in baseball apart from 2 years where I got to be a pitcher in little league. But now I'm becoming a fan, too bad my team will likely finish the season with the worst record this year. I guess I can just catch up on all your vlogs instead.

    The insght trevor gives the casual fan into the brain of an elite pitcher is unparalleled. Much more educational as well as entertaining than the sterilized "content" mlb pushes out. This is how you grow a fan base.

    Thank you so much for sharing your journey, experiences, expertise, insights, mentality, thought process, and tips. I recently found your channel and am so thankful that I did. I wish I was 40 years younger, as I've had so many "aha" moments that would have helped my pitching and baseball intelligence. Also, having spent 9 years working and living in Japan, I absolutely love when you share your comments about your time in Japan and also seeing MATSUMOTO-SAN and ANRAKU-SAN as it brings back so many wonderful memories.
    Thank you once again for sharing your journey with us all and wishing you continued success and good health. Otsukare same deshita!

      The only thing that will hurt him is his unique way of preparing, Noone else really does it. Works, but people scoff at it and always have. He would make an amazing coach. He is a perfect mix of old school wrist controll and new school power. Not many pitch like Trevor. Where you gotta 98mph fast ball and a slider that buckles you.

      Diablos get the importance of social media and content like this to bring in young fans. One of the few orgs that both gets it and is positioned to allow it. Makes for some pretty unique insights right?

      @Oatmeal_Games 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@BauerOutage Yeah, Nail on the head. Like it or not this is the modern era. Get on board or get left in the dust from a pitchers kick. It is astonishing that this is not already happening a little more. I'm pretty sure you agree there should maybe be more dugout interviews or maybe that was a joke lol? How far would you like to take this kind of concept in baseball? Obviously you guys have a job to do out there so being up in your shit might be a detriment? Maybe make a video my guy on the pros and cons of more coverage of players live / baseball insights / even coaches maybe getting in on the action? Or is this an area left best handled but the broadcasters and media after the game? I could honestly talk to you about much more. Sorry for writing a book haha.
      Appreciate what you are doing for the sport and thanks for at least replying to the first comment.

    I made this comment on a FB post about the St. Louis president saying he doesn't want to look desperate. "Trevor Bauer's vlogs of his pitching adventure in Mexico is far more entertaining to watch than a MLB broadcast game. IMO." The comment got 100 reactions so far (95 likes, 2 loves, 2 hahas, and 1 care) and 8 replies. Baseball fans want to see you make it Trevor. Love the May the Fourth Diablos uniform. So cool!🤩

    Hey Trevor, you posed an interesting question about why the fan culture in the U.S. is different from international leagues. I lived in Korea for a few years, had the chance to go see every KBO team play and made it to Japan to see a couple NPB games as well (unfortunately couldnt catch you for the BayStars while i was there). First, I 100% agree. The fan atmosphere in-game is completely different and incredibly fun in international leagues. I think a major part of that being a struggle in MLB is that many of the fans are casual attendees, meaning they personally don't go to many games in a single season (most likely because of MLB prices), so in-game fan culture doesn't quite develop the same way. Most season ticket holders I personally know who attend enough games regularly enough to know and lead that sort of atmosphere are grumpy old men that would never actually participate...unfortunately. Also, the MLB games that are actually affordable (where the average joe might go to several in season) have abysmal attendance rates. Hard to get pumped up when 5,000 people are spread out in a 40,000-seat ballpark. On the contrary, foreign games tend to be incredibly affordable and have a ton of dedicated attendees, even on away games where those fans need to travel. And, from my experience going to games in Korea and Japan, even teams performing poorly still had pretty good attendance rates. I'm not sure how Mexican baseball culture relates, but it seems similar. The stadium atmosphere develops better when your "average joes" so to say, are all able to attend games consistently.
