best thing was to add the traits ability from 2k8 in. Really separates players from each other with different combinations. Lets hope Micro-Transactions dont show up.
That’s kinda what the abilities seem like to me. Something pretty large that has some tiers to it that aren’t game breaking. Like building up max speed to break tackles seems like a fun trait that could work well on a slower bruising back and won’t fit too well on someone faster. Seems kinda nice.
God dude. if this game is just a madden reskin, I'm gonna be so heartbroken. We've waited too long and endured too much mediocrity for it all to end with another heap of steaming garbage.
He said on twitter he wasn’t going to do any more updates on this game until it releases, so if he pre-order (he’s soft drink and probably didn’t) a review should be out on the 15th or 16th, as early access is at 4pm cst on the 15th
As this game was announced in 2022 to be in development, I would assume it’s been in the works or spoken about among devs since 2021. So that’s around 2-3 years of development time, instead of less than 12 months that go into a yearly release of madden. This needs to be the best football game released since PS3 era games. It may cause a seismic shift and maybe create a situation of bi-yearly releases. I’d hope most people would be happy with constant updates for a 2 year cycle while they flesh out a new game. And sure a 2 year window would make for even more profit in MUT and Ultimate team in respective games, as consumers would have 2 years to sink their time or money into a team. Rather than this year cycle where all work is thrown away when a new game is released unless the player decides to not buy the new game. Really pulling for this game to be a quality release.

From what can be seen and heard from those closely involved with the game, I find College Football 25 to be a promising release. I'm excited to see how the game plays and flows throughout and how all of the features function. It's going to be quite interesting. So far, I'm optimistic about it.
3:35 look at how the second defender reacts properly and had his eyes on the runner wow.
The over the shoulder catch alone!!
Just came from Ryan moody video this was refreshing 😭
Tbh I’m convinced he’d hate on EA even if they solved world hunger 😭
At 10:20, the ball most likely pops out due to the fact that we can see the player is ice cold at 10:12. I feel if that player was hot, however, he would've made the catch
As a Vikings fan, I appreciate your callout against the 09 Saints
You notice the 2021 CFP logo on the Clemson behind the scenes clip
My last hesitation is the recruiting system. That is what will determine if this is the greatest football game of all time.
recruiting system info details are already out. Rock solid, and more similar to 12-13 then 14. My only hesitations are the presentation. We'll see..
@@xman777baccording to TH-camrs Bordeaux and Bengal, the Presentation is astounding. Watch Bordeaux's video on his time in Orlando. He goes into some nice detail
Softdrinktv: how about another College Football 25 preview video, before it hits, my man?
I'm looking forward to the game don't get me wrong but the only reason we are getting more features for NCAA 25 is because EA knows NFL and college fans are watching them more then Madden especially since this is the first game in 11 years. Just got a bad feeling they could somewhat drop the ball because EA is good at screwing up
Also I think it's because they're not developing it on last Gen consoles or PC. Just current Gen.
@@danielperry6557Whats wrong with developing for PC? They have better hardware then consoles
@@FeasyFren didn't say there was anything wrong with it , they're just not doing it.
I believe the “teams” listed next to the players are those players’ home states. Ollie Gordon is from Texas. Other players that have been shown are from their respective states, so not an error but a little strange IMO.
The game looks nothing like madden and it looks really good The gameplay looks completely different too
Same animations and movement. Same clueless AI dude
@@sportstronicsdumb fuck can you hear? Soft drink literally said that it reuses some assets and animations from Madden but it’s not a reskin because there tons of animations that aren’t in Madden. You might want to change your pad I think you’re leaking
People are so gullible 😂
@@sportstronics Im hoping there is least Sim sliders to make animations abit more realistic. or it least fine tuned
@@sportstronicsit’s literally madden with a boosted game speed
When u said that ollie gordon not playing for texas was a bug. You were wrong because that’s where the player was from
Reusing animations from animations from madden is a huge red flag.
Well they are using the same engine. It makes no sense not to use assets if they are available.
I mean I don’t mind it as long as it’s reasonable animations. I don’t really see COD using different death animations in multiplayer a whole ton. I have an issue if they only reuse animations, don’t make new ones, and keep in ones that don’t really work well.
Thats not a error, Ollie Gordon is from fort Worth Texas, it's the state they're from not where they play. Where they play is obvious because it shows the school and logo
NOPE - y'all acting like the abused woman. I always value the opinion but I grew up in Cleveland, the home of "this is the year." Not one shred of optimism until release.
Breaking down a 5 minute video and almost making it 5 times longer is crazy.
Asmongold ahh reaction
Notice how all the pessimists are outta the comments 😂 now I can be excited in peace
Naw, there's still one here.😁 Temper your excitement my son...
can’t wait for the review man
Love the vids
If this game gets great reviews and sells well,I see Madden 26 becoming the reskin
No way people are still saying this game is gonna flop, we got Matt Brown, Not the Expert, and Soft Drink TV telling us this will surpass madden in nearly every way
Look at Angry Reviews. They called it a madden reskin AFTER seeing the Gameplay trailer. Like c'mon now😂
Fam, do a deep dive on the presentation and dynasty. Another deeper & REALISTIC feature Madden lacks in
Hooray for rational optimism vs blind, practiced hate *cough Ryan Moody cough*
hopefully a lot of the "Madden reskin" crowd learns the same
It's nice to see some optimism around this game, instead of yet another "screw EA" video that seems to be so common/easy to make.
Looking forward to your final review when it releases.
No offense to you, but I'm pre-ordering regardless of anyone youtuber's review! I haven't bought a new football game since NCAA 14 in 2013 and would have even bought it if it was a Madden re-skin just because I miss the College experience💀 lol
Only idiots pre order games
@@Broncos18ur right. Doesn’t stop me from pre ordering from softwares games tho
best thing was to add the traits ability from 2k8 in.
Actually excited for a football game for the first time in years wtf is this feeling🤣
God dude. if this game is just a madden reskin, I'm gonna be so heartbroken. We've waited too long and endured too much mediocrity for it all to end with another heap of steaming garbage.
Can you make a video on the EA sports dynasty deep dive?
I second that.
Third
It was announced in feb 2021. They had already been working on it before announcement.
You know what they say “talk is cheap” that rule goes triple for EA but theres been too many content creators come out and say they’ve enjoyed the game for it not to be good I’m just glad NCAA 13 recruiting system is returning 14s felt way too easy and bland
I never played 13. Only 11 and 14. Does it work similarly to 11?
@@crimsonchin8916 it has pitch grades and managing time like in ncaa 11 but no random roll instead you call the prospect and you are able to “make a pitch” “compare schools” or “sway interest” if you are a school like the umass minutemen 5 star athletes ridicule you for even calling them but overtime if you are a winning program your school becomes more established and competitive this system was amazing as it felt like you were building up a college while winning football but fans complained it was too complicated and so the point system in ncaa 14 happened
@@crimsonchin8916 Yes
@@jamiebaxter9143 oh good god. That stuff was nice but somewhat felt tedious at times. Especially when you’d do all of it just for the guy to be like a 47 overall 2 star player.
@@crimsonchin8916there was no random roll stuff after scouting the players for 100% you can see if they are “busts””gems” or “just as advertised” what I loved the most is when your school had success the athletic facilities would get better like you were building history
Can you do an ncaa football 2008 retrospective
