I have so enjoyed watching,”This Life I Live” with Rory. The best part is getting to keep in touch with Rory and Indy living their everyday life! I have followed Joey and Rory from the first time I saw them. I just fell in love with them instantly! We have tickets for his concert in May (2021) on the farm. They are the most beautiful couple I have ever known !! Joey’s voice was so angelic ....it reminded me of an angel. Hopefully Rory will share his life in another way. For today we will wait and see what God will do in his and Indy’s life.
I followed Joey & Rory when they won for there record CMA awards. I also watched Rory’s sister she had a restaurant the first one they worked at along with Joey helping in the place. Then they built a brand new one. I lost track now where it is. I was watching at the time The Life I Live stories Rory would make about the farm & the house they have. This was back when Joey was alive & was pregnant with little Indiana I was still following clear up to her birth growing from being a baby to going to the school house in walking distance from her house & her papa would walk her to the gate & watched her till she got there & waved back she was there. But Joey had passed away before then. I saw a lot about there whole family Rory’s other daughters and his siblings.I enjoyed watching him on the show’s he made. But today I found them again & oh my Indy has grown so much. And Rory has re-married to a lady Rebecca that taught at the school small world congratulations on finding that out. I’m going to get back keeping up with all of you again. Could you please send me the name of the restaurant? I might just make a trip there to see how that turned out. What you are providing for all these children is invaluable. Both the children IN the classroom, but also the ones able to tune in each day. You are 100% right. The world has changed so very much. And, unfortunately much of it not for the better. As a Widow, at 58, I've gone from caregiver for 24 years ( my in-laws, and then my late Husband) to spending as much time as I can instilling values that seem cast aside, and showing my Grandkids ( when I am able to spend time with them) WHAT is truly important in this life. But when I settled down in Wyoming USA my cable tv don't have RFD but about 3 or 4 years ago I found I can get it streaming videos so I am a big fan of all you are bringing God back to school. And Ms. Rebecca since I am disabled shut in .I go to church on line and worship on line .I have prayed for Joie before, as I also prayed for my mother when she had stage 4 cancer and past in 2009 . Joey I know is so overjoyed at the One Room Schoolhouse! I enjoyed the Homesteading Festival and getting to see it first hand. I’ve been a teacher, mostly a special education teacher of elementary students. It’s very exciting and a very special place to learn. Sharing it live on Facebook Live was just genius! I love it! As a teacher in Texas my heart is heavy and the fact that you’re bringing God back into your class is what we need , I believe is what is missing. That is the reason we call prepared environment. You showing your school around the world is a great one. It could be a pattern for those starter to open up THIER own school. Of course, I think the whole concept is wonderful. However, I get dismayed when people think that they can't pray.....anywhere. Group prayer shouldn't be what's promoted to children, in my opinion. The children can simply have a personal relationship with Christ and they have free will to pray as they choose, unceasing. The thing that this school does is promote what, I believe, makes Christ the happiest. It's filled with love. That's what makes this wonderful.
