Players today also practice hitting the ball with little or no spin to make it move that much more. I played in the 80s/90s and am on the training ground today, and there's just no comparison to how much the ball moves. Bruce was brilliant, but the comparison isn't fair.

This is a legend Liverpool👍
Everyone saying 'Keepers today don't catch the ball' - there's a reason for that. The ball was heavier then and didn't move nearly so much in the air. Players today also practice hitting the ball with little or no spin to make it move that much more. I played in the 80s/90s and am on the training ground today, and there's just no comparison to how much the ball moves. Bruce was brilliant, but the comparison isn't fair.

One of the best sweeper keepers of All time. People say Liverpool is overrated then how did we manage to produce some of the best keepers in the world in the form of Ray Clemence, David James, Brad Freidel, Alisson Becker, some of the very first sweeper keepers like Tommy Lawrence and Bruce Grobbelaar, thrn the likes of Pepe , Elisha Scott and the countless other goalkeepers
