Alternatively, planning your business around a low volume, high quality, visually intriguing product is smart thinking. Selling at that high of a price point practically eliminates most cost conscious buyers and lends credibility to a bespoke artisanal craftsmanship which could potentially be appealing to the wealthier crowd. As a side gig, selling two to six in a year could be a fun way to earn extra cash- as a more full time business, selling seven to 35 in a year could probably be good money.
@@dustinbird2090 problem is that the people that can afford to blow that kind of cash on a tricycle are mostly fat and or old. I don't care how cool it looks. This will either be available to the masses at a low price or your goal is to just get by as a business. But you are right, do what makes you happy.

I don't think it would be every man. There are the heavy beer drinkers, the ones who eat rubbish food, and consequently are obese, carrying heavy "food babies" around inside their beer guts. I can't see these slobs voluntarily accepting cycling to work.
I wish I have a lot of tools and materials to make my own velomobile too. I want it to be still light, and weather proof, but still promising speed and performance in a minimum rider effort.
Northern Light 428, hands down the best one on the list. A nice balance of price and function, this one just can't be beat. The one that's got the mahogany body, that's a work of art,, and you can't put a price on that, this thing is absolutely beautiful. But, once again, the Northern Light 428 gets my vote, hands down. Starting at 3,000 something? OMG what a deal. Now.. where do I sign? I'll take two of them, please.😎👍💯💯💯
I'd love it with a small gasoline powered engine. Then you could really go places. It would be so cool driving it without getting tired or worrying about the electric charge. Countryside roads in this would be fun.
That work of art, the bike that looks like a Chris-Craft boat, well the Chris Craft is really expensive and it's a work of art. That things in the same class. Nice job my friend. And artwork get the price tag from whatever someone's willing to pay for it. I have no doubt, 20K euros, easily.
I've been in the market for a non-fuel, partially covered mode of transport for years. The trouble is they are so niche, they usually rely on startup business models...with the risk yiu will never actually get your machine. Then there's individuality...each manufacturer making their own bespoke parts, which will be hard to source if the company fails.
I wish I had 2-3 months off of work and the money to pay bills while I build the 2nd version of my 4 wheel drive and 4 wheel steer pedal kart. I’ve looked all over the internet and I’ve found nothing like my design. It should be fantastic for climbing hills. My design allows for full 4 wheel lock. The AI narration needs a lot of work. Great ideas though. The speeds are a bit naff though. On my pedal assist eTrike on a low setting, I can get a max speed of 32mph on the level and I run out of gears on a downhill at 43mph. With the cost of fuel, these are the way to go though.

I mean these seem cool on paper, but It feels like you are forcing unnecessary complexity onto an already very convenient way of travelling, which is a normal e-bike. You won't travel very far with an velomobile anyway. And with proper clothing an e-bike does the same job, but much much cheaper.
Why is light weight emphasized as being a good thing? I much prefer a heavier vehicle for a number of reasons. If you want to save weight for whatever reason, leave the pedals, chains and sprockets off of it.

Please take what I have to say to heart. Nobody wants to listen to an AI voice. There is nothing genuine about it.
$17,000 for a bicycle with a body........you would have to be smoking some serious Hooch to pay that.
€15k for the Virketis, a handmade piece of art - a bargain!
