OMG thanks! I didn't get into the mechanisms until after the band ended, so ive never seen them perform live, and I love the bifrost incident. Red signal is fun because it's a genuinely good song and i can listen to it on my headphones and smile because none of the people on the street know I'm listening to someone screaming and chanting about Yogsothoth

Uhhh hey. This has little relation to the vid, I just didn't know where else I can ask people this, but a while ago I was telling my mom about The Mechanisms. When I said that they ended, she kinda immediately went, "oh yeah, they don't seem pretty popular so that makes sense, cause lack of funds and all that" and that just rubbed me the wrong way?? And I was kinda offended for The Mechs? So... did The Mechs ever say why they decided to do their last concert, was there a problem that led to it or did they just decide it was time? Cause ten years is a long time and I understand if it was the latter, and I didn't see any mention anywhere of any problems or drama...
it was due to the band moving apart physically! they all have been to busy w solo projects to practice and the distance made it even harder. So they went out w a bang. had nothing to w popularity, DTTM was sold out Both Nights. It was a mutual decision and everyone had a good time.
