No in US as a self employed person it is a necessary and proper business expense write off reported as "other expense" generally. Not inventory bc the operation type of "business" is not selling@@pvp2016

I knew this list would consist of most 1s and Yeezys. Biggest regret buying the FOG1 noirs on release day. I paid $600. If I would have waited 2 months I could have grabbed them for $400. I’m usually patient wen it comes to shoes so I don’t have any horror stories more learning moments

I own two pairs of shoes. A $30 pair of Nike running shoes and $100 dollar Jordan 1 mid. I love all of these shoes, and I especially want the born and raised dunks, they’re really nice.
I managed to cop the L&F at £145 retail from wait for it………..Offspring of all places. To this day I’ve no idea how. And to this day I’ve not even taken them out the box 😂
I got a pair of Lucky Greens in StockX for under retail, nice pair imo and saved some money waiting for them to go for the low after they dropped. Nice video man!
we've all suffered L's on some shoes whether on a trade or paying resell. The market as it currently stands is on a downturn. maybe the demand picks up during the holiday season since people will be looking for gifts.

Like there are a few pairs I paid resell for and I set a limit on what I think a shoes value is to me personally but the thing is, not once have I ever seen them as investments. I haven't got a pair I haven't worn at least once. I just don't see them as anything other than things that look cool to me and I like matching colours with my clothing if I can. I like having choices and options with all my clothing and shoes is no different. But not one of these things that I own do I see as investments as losses to me.

Why do people in US collect only Nike (Air, Jordan) ? I mean 99 % of TH-camrs have shelves filled with all kind of Nike sneakers. Why there is no Adidas, Reebok, Asics, New Balance etc. ? Do people only wear Nike in US (while other brands are not popular at all) or are there any other reasons ?
To be honest the Donkey Dix 3 and 4's sold for over $5000 on release but are now selling for $75 at Marshals and TJ Maxx. Imagine buying shoes for that much and losing it all
