I just rented one for three months, hands down the best mini excavator I have ever operated power, speed and comfort!!!

It is good to see that Bobcat finally came out with something worth buying. In the past they had good ideas, but a lot of companies implemented it better.

Bobcat has always had more power , just tippy due to so much power

If you have any spots that just will not hold the water in go to one of your local Oil Feild outfits and see if you can get a few bags of bentonite. It’s basically just clay but they use it and they’re drilling mud if you line a pond with that or just the spots you need it it will hold water year-round no problem for years and years and years. I had a pipeline come through my property and we had the guys line A pond with it that never held water and it has never dropped an inch in about 13 years now!

I have pulled rocks out of the ground as big as a 42 with my 60. Kinda heavy to tow though.. Long arm. Counter weight and 36 inch bucket

My 42 is great but I’ve had to fix every hydraulic on it within 700 hours. The warranty sucks… they have warrantied nothing. Machine is great but the company sucks.

@derrickvarnadore1682 unfortunately I'm having the same experience with the company. I got the e42 excavator and t66 track loader. Machines have been great, but the company doesn't know wtf they are doing.

We own a bobcat e 85 and I have four things that I don't like about. #1 is the front window it rattle so bad when you are driving the excavator. 2# is the thumb I know some people may like it this way but the thumb is too straight and some times is hard to grab things. 3# is the blade on the front of the machine is so small and last but not least is the machine too heavy for the drive motors on the tracks because when you going up hill or need to trurn the machine and can't use the bucket to help you is soo hard to make a trurn. But other than that I like this machine.

Red clay is no joke...just watch My Cousin Vinny to get a little humorous reference material on the subject :)
When it's dry it's almost rock hard...when it's wet it's like trying to handle buttered eels...slippery as all get out!

Texas winters are mild however I never ran it past the second setting on the fan control. Same story on the air conditioning. It's fantastic and has a very powerful fan with great vent locations.

How much will it lift? I need something to move and place logs on a mill.

    • @TheGoodoftheLand
      @TheGoodoftheLand  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I lifted a 60 ft pine log some where between 14 and 18 inch base like it was a fence picket. It will lift far more than it can grab. My guess is it could throw a 36 inch x 12 ft log about 15 ft without much effort so I would say it might be overkill. Unless you need to dig a large trench through heavy material every day I would suggest it's little brother. Dam strong machines. If you get a chance give one a test ride.

  • @MWestern-m4g

Did that comment directed at your Kubuto mean it's not what you thought or is it the lack of support from the dealer? I know the Takuchi seems to be pretty pretty good and people really like it. AndrewC, DirtP-etc. I have an older Cat that I like. Access is great, rad is above and swings out and up.

    • @TheGoodoftheLand

I have a lot of issues with kubota. Probably a new video on that front out soon. Let's just say if I knew then what I know now I would have gone a different direction.

JD and Cat are similar in the fact that you pay the premium for the name and parts. I can’t speak to JD but Cat service is top notch. It doesn’t matter what brand you run … if you have no dealer support or service support…. Your kinda lost in the woods

For the price if your not gonna be moving your track hole and keeping it in one place I would buy a big used track hole that to costly to be moved around because no one wants them so you can buy them cheap and do more in a hour than you can do all day with that little one

I hear you. This guy fits what I do. Powerful, truck towable. Moves every week. Still looking for a decent used 200+ for the big jobs. Not so much for saving time but for saving the smaller equipment from wear.

Hello , Doosan is a very good excavator but I think Hyundai is more powerful and nervous. Hyundai bought out Doosan so will Bobcat still sell Doosan? As for John Deere, Hitachi is good, but he thinks Doosan is more efficient.
