It's frustrating that they repaved Schomburg but didn't add bike lanes, though a separated path would be much better anyway. But Columbus isn't too interested in getting people out of cars it seems...
I've had some spectacular crashes on my cross-country and downhill bikes. Got knicknamed "Crash" at work because I would show up with all of the cuts and scraps. I always wear my helmet and padded gloves when riding which have prevented serious injuries. I love my Vitilan i7 Pro, particularly the full suspension and hydraulic brakes. Cheers, Steve
@@ridealongwithritchie I literally cracked one of my helmets and mentioned that to a bike store owner. He asked "can I have it?" I asked him why he wanted it; he wanted to show his customers the value of wearing a helmet. I'm not sure if that couple understood your point and it may take one of them crashing to figure out wearing a helmet isn't a big deal. I got the glove wearing idea from a motorcyclist that showed me how the padding on the back protected his knuckles,

I really only ride on Schomburg or Moon unless I'm headed somewhere or accidentally end up there like I did on this one, ha.

Somehow, my palms didn't get a single scratch. Not sure how that happened. I think my helmet and shoulder took most of the hit.

Wow Richie, hope your doing OK now after your crash. Another good video. Takecare.
Thanks Liz! I'm healing up slowly but surely thankfully. My ribs still hurt almost a week later, lol.
That's a cool drop mirror for rear view. Do you have a link for that by any chance?
Sure!
