    love these pocket watches = so i bought a fusee movement one - 1860 on ebay - silver case - waiting .

    And I thought my 50 year old Vostok Bochka was old to be still working!
    It's like restoring an old steam locomotive, just smaller :)

    Sir, is the chrystal made on glass or plastic?
    I do have a French verge fusee pocket watch from the same era. My watch comes with plastic chrystal. I just wonder is it sould be made of glass?

      Ancient fusèe watches had a chain to transmit the motion of charge, like bicycles👍

      The fusee-chain system was used to improve the isochronism with the balance. The mainspring discharges into the fusee gradually and the force remains constant.
