It's incredible. You just connect a USB device to your PC, flash a firmware straight from your browser, then you provide your wifi credentials and have absolutely no freaking idea what code is running and how your network is used.
Security? No worries, China's Espressif will handle it!

Home Assistant supports Matter too. Theres Matter server addon but its in beta. From my testing, it does work fine. Might still be some bugs here and there

How does H2 connect to wifi? How is the battery live compared to running ESPHome and tasmota? Can I hope I'll have my diy (long life) battery powered window opened/closed binary sensor soon using a C6 that i happen to have lying around?

This is fascinating! I wonder if will be possible to add a homebrew ecosystem, such as a NodeRED broker.
You can use Matter plugin, which is an open-source project that enables the generation of Matter devices within Node-RED. As of now I think only light and switch are supported
can i also build a dash button style device with this (without relay) that directly controls other devices like smart bulbs ?
after creating the device can i get the code which is getting uploaded in the esp
Is it possible to decompile the code and make changes in the Arduino IDE?
one interesting thing would be: can you start an alexa routine from the button? then we would have a smart button with matter. would be great to get that info...

main problem of this is that you need to become a csa aliance member (for developing with matter) so esp zerocode web is nice but this solution is for now hardly possible for companies…

I like your videos. Can you also make a project from Esp32 which can make IPP request to any printer in local network using IPP protocol. So that we can print contents in our printer from internet in certain intervals or by some triggers.
