What’s up Conner!!! Man we got 15 acres under production this year and owe you a lot. It’s so dry here in South Carolina and been over a 100 degrees for past 7 days. Just irrigating has been working us to death, but everything is looking awesome
I used the collinear hoe for years and this year found the wire weeders. They are superior in comparison. A couple of other advantages of the wire weeders is that they don't tend to displace soil as much. The collinear hoe has a tendency to drag soil from one area to another, but the wires don't; they simply disturb the soil but leave it in place. Another advantage is that you can use them at any angle. With the collinear hoe you have to place the blade parallel with the ground as you pull it across. With the wire I can do spot weeding and reach out at any angle. Cheers, Connor!
Matthew Moon thanks for bringing up your comparisons. I was on the Fiance about which one would be best to start out with. You’ve definitely helped my decision. Wire weeder set it is ✌🏼🌱
i am from india. really like your tools and strategies of spacing and dealing with weeds. wish i could buy your tools which will solve many of our problems with growing vegetable and managing weed pressure at our farms.. thanks for sharing your innovative ideas..
Just realized it's probably one of the kiddos holding the camera bc of the angle lol. Love the videos, had just bought a hula hoe (very similar) and am loving it.
wonderful, ingenious, cheap and simple tools! these will change the way market farming is done in the future as they become mainstream. Bravo and Thank you!!!
This is great content, how would you go about removing weeds from years old pasture to make a weed free farm please? Would you turf first then remove larger perennial roots? Zone 8-9 in soggy Cornwall UK.
Looking online for that head that holds more than one wire cultivator and can't find it. See the handle and the wire cultivators, but not one that will hold more than one for several rows like you show.
Hi coner, i see one of your biggest efforts is keeping your farm weed free, and your doing a awesome job. But on some crops aint it more economical, besides of heating the soil faster to use plastic mulch?
@@NeversinkFarm whys that? It looks to me that it might damage plants, but jm swears by it. I bout the complete mutineer set and love it. Thinking about buying the flex tine because it seems easier. What do you think?
Thanks Connor, gonna hold off on the flex tine, im on such a small scale I cant afford to lose my plants. I signed up for jms master class... Im thinking I shouldve signed up for yours. But thank you for all the free videos, I appreciate it!
I just used the torsion weed for the first time yesterday, i am very happy with the effectiveness of weed suppression. Do you use the torsion for 12 rows or do you try and use less rows?

I own a set of these with the handle. They're great - top quality gear. Highly recommended.
Who makes them?
I have made my own wire tool and it works great! Thanks Connor

If I hadn't already seen it on a video before, I'd still have guessed "engineer turned farmer".
Excellent information 👍
I love the fact that it has a longer handle. I don't have to stoop over. They could be another 6 inches longer though. Lol.
What kind of wire or gauge are those? Thanks for the vids- good stuff
They come in both sharp and firm. www.neversinktools.com/products/pacifist-collection
Nice tools!
Good stuff.
Do you have plans to bring back the aquifer sprinkler to your website for purchase?
Yes. We are working on it

Not for me, it isn’t
Neversink Farm
: At @7:00, you mentioned "3 and a quarter inches on the sides". Should that be
"3 and a THREE quarter inches" (half of 7.5")?
correct
do you use the flex tine weeder?
No. I don’t like it.
@@NeversinkFarm whys that? It looks to me that it might damage plants, but jm swears by it. I bout the complete mutineer set and love it. Thinking about buying the flex tine because it seems easier. What do you think?
1) It does damage the crop. 2) Does not kill a high enough percentage of weeds 3) Requires very specific timing and very specific situations.
