Good morning! I have a 2015 Chevy Cruze LS and my temperature gauge stops working, my air conditioner stops working and my fan goes on turbo. I've replaced both temperature sensors by watching your videos and thank you very much for that information. I'm still having the issue. Should I change out the thermostat now?
Check for frayed wiring and clean connection to temp sensor with contact cleaner. P0118 is an open circuit at the temp sensor which means a bad sensor or connection. Also could be because of the coolant in poor condition.
Hello. Im currently having the same issue. Ive just replaced the ECT sensor and the fan is staying on. Ive erased code but still on. Any help? Thanks in advance
No need to drain the coolant. Just wait till engine is cold, remove clip and quickly install new sensor. You lose just a few drops of coolant. Top off coolant and you are finished. Takes 5 minutes. I have done this 3 times now on my 2013 Cruze on this exact motor.
@@cerealpath3897 It is a common problem. In fact, the temp needle should be slightly below center and right now it is only showing 1/4 there. Will need another sensor soon.

Have you solved that problem? Could it be a broken wire of sensor?
The gauge level stays on cold even on startUp
