well the crowd are dance gavin dance crowd! like they were here for dancing i guess :P ! but why periphery would open for DGD? the answer is simple! they are both progressive band! but the difference is, one is progressive metal(djent) and one is progressive rock(jazz-fusion with posthardcore)
@@yesh6545 they are still both "hard rock" though... unless DGD fans are some sort of snooty elitist fans, that still doesn't really excuse the lack of movement, I've been moved by opening bands that is never heard of before, thats how i discovered periphery many years ago. I guess your right though.
This crowd is pretty weak tbh, I was at the Dallas show and that was a nonstop pit. I thought I was imagining things on these videos but I'm glad to see someone agrees with me.
Same thing happened at Swanfest 2023. Everyone was there for DGD, barely moved for Periphery. And they played some bangers too. Set was Ragnarok, Wildfire, Atropos, Zagreus and Reptile
B T i’ve listened to this a couple times and can’t find anything two different. yeah maybe a few fills that’s different but that’s to keep it fun. it would get boring having to remember the exact fills and playing it the same every show!
Love it when Matt switches the beat up for this song.
Generic Nondescript TH-camr where?
i was also wondering? it sounds the same to me
5:15 more snare
Those extra screams in the breakdown are sickest part of this video (pretty sure spencer was sick during this show so no pun intended lmfao)
For the record Spencer's voice was shot at this point. If I researched it well enough I think he was sick on top of that
And frankly... still did pretty good. Which pretty much tells you the excellence we're used to from Spencer.
crowd is lame, thanks for all the uploads and sacrificing your fun to record this.

Thank you so much for this!
God this is one of their most badass songs dude fuck
Bruh, it sucks that I live in Atlanta... they're never gonna go their. I really want to go to their show and I've never even been to any show before.
0:12 MISHA!!!!!!! Love your channel name by the way.
The way they started playing was sick as fuck
They can always hype the crowd up
crunk, crunk crunk *pinch harmonic*! then pretty vocals
Do you have dgd’s full set too?
Unfortunately not, because my phone battery died after Periphery’s set. :(
pravus all good I was there anyways 😅
3:48 dude on the far right was so fucking off beat lol
So jealous
They changed the drumming on this. They must have wanted to try something new.

@@Bryancmillsii its mostly during the climactic high cleans part at the end. The snare hits.
Weak crowd
Youll probably find me easily in this crowd then (look for the fist pumping)
