Thanks guys for trying the magnet thing , I think you should keep trying cuz it doesn't take a lot of energy and each time you learn a Lil more ,once you break open the door you can see if the magnet will move the dead bolt (and a big safe Might need extra magnets)(I also remember electric combinations work with a internal cylinoide that can be over powered by the magnet. )
Okay so whats behind the door part of the safe? That is a two compartment safe first when you open it it should have like a place you can hang hand guns. Then you open the big compartment. You can see it after they open it and are looking around the door.
As easily as the pried it open, the safe was not worth much. It looks like one of those $300 boxes you find all over in hardware stores. Also, what is"unbelievable" about a firearms safe that contains a lot of ammo? It wouldn't even by unbelievable if it contained some gold and silver coins.
Should have seen if you could have gotten the storage sheds owners number and offered them a few bucks for the combination..that could have been a good safe to keep..

What I found that was pretty funny. Was you guys commenting on wow, that's a lot of ammo. Really? 1000 rounds is a lot of ammo. 1000 round of Colt 45 ammo is pretty damn good. Good money anyway. But if you were opened up that green ammo box, and there would have been a thousand rounds of AR-15. I mean if you were to flip it as used ammo if you couldn't hear State you'd still only be looking at about. 300 box 350 box for AR15 ammo. Who knows maybe in the front of it? You'll find a really nice coin collection or something. You guys definitely getting some work to get it open? Next time you try to do that. Have her put the camera on something to hold it. Then that way while you're both pushing an opening part of the safe. A metal or wooden wedge could be knocked into it with a hammer to hold the part of the work you've already done. Then you would remove. Your wedges that you're using to open it. And have more wooden or steel wedges sitting there and if you got another section open drive a wedge in it that way it wouldn't keep closing on itself. Just a suggestive him to help you guys save you from having a heart attack or something.

Easier way to open a gun safe is to take a grinder with a cutting blade and cut through the side wall of it is only a 1/4 inch think you could have what's in side in about 1 min

It not that big of a deal its just ammo I think any true shooter or gun lover has at least 1000 rounds for every gun and if u have multiple guns with the same caliber u should have at least 2000 rounds
The struggle is real!!!! It took both of you big guys giving it your ALL to open that gun safe! You have close to $2,000 in ammo just in that gun case (add that to all the ammo you found already in that locker and you are up to almost $5,000 jut in ammo!! WOWZERS!!!

You guys make the worse of safecrackers I have ever seen. It would be wise to invest in a angle grinder cordless with a cut off wheel it would make it a lot easier for both cut off the hinges
It was NOT a $700 safe - not anywhere close. They would not have been able to pry the front door of a $700 safe, without far better tools than they had.

No. U have to literally smash the back with a hammer or heat up the cartridge enough to ignite the primer inside

That front section is just a hollow box to make the door look stronger than it is. Pistols are hung in the holsters hanging on the front door.

You can sell ammo if it is from an ammo company. If it's reloaded by an individual you cannot.
