- Sung by the Clancy Brothers & Tommy Makem. A song about the tradition of Wren Day which falls on on St. Stephen's Day/December 26th. The tradition involved hunting for a Wren bird in the hedges and countryside. The Wren would be tied to the top of a long decorated stick and would be paraded around by Wrenboys wearing costumes while performing music. The Wrenboys would go from door to door seeking small donations. The tradition still lives on although Wren birds are no longer hunted and rather fake ones are used.
The other song partially sung in this is 'Ar Son Éireann'.
