In reduction potential, why will the electrode gain electrons? It's the metal cation in electrolyte that gains the electrons and then forms metal right. 8:00

Ma'am Doubt- I got the part ki Cu electron lose krega but electron gain kyu krega Cu rod to neutral hogi na??
When Cu electrode present in CuSO4 Solution

@@ayushkkharwar3213 these are 2 conditions which can be in that type of half cell, and this is due to maintain electrical neutrality
