you gotta understand that they didn't know he was in excruciating pain. we know be cause we have hind sight but they don't. really the only thing they did wrong was peer pressuring him (get it?) into wearing the costume but that's on par with a lot of teens.
So they peer pressured him into being the villian when any of them could have choosen not to be the jerk and been the villian if it meant that much to then, LOCKED him in the suit, ignored him screaming out in pain, THEN LEFT HIM TO DIE TO GO GET PIZZA!?!?!?! How do you just leave your friend after a group event that you pressured him into doing? As much as i was hoping they would all die in freak accidents, you cant convince me that they didnt want Luke dead from the start.
we have seen bad people chase people around in springtrap costumes, this time we had a hero in one trying to protect the kiddos.I liked this story, even though poor luca didn't deserve that
you know, some people say "burntrap's" corpse is from kelly when mimic wore her, but there is arguably more evidence of it being Luca, considering that 'burntrap' is made primairily out of an actual springlock suit and he dies in one, where as the Mimic is nothing alike a springlock suit not saying it's him for sure, but it is a better theory than mimic burntrap
I'm at 32:47 of the story and I've already decided it's gonna be so cathartic when all of Lucas friends die. I would never force my friends to do something they obviously don't feel comfortable doing. I'd just be the rabbit my self and end the fight. I've never allowed that sort of abusive behavior to go on in my presence.
Having golden Freddy be mentioned could also prove that some of the games are cannon inside of the universe as well. Similar to how SB had shadow animatronics etc. shown in the museum.
This story is so cool! I love how well it utilizes the springlock mechanism, to me that has always been the most horror that this franchise has ever had, I'm not a very claustrophobic person but the thought of being cramped inside of a suit with metal clamps holding you in place and you have to walk around like that carrying the knowledge that even the slightest wrong move will set them off and either injure you so bad to the point of permanent scarring or more likely death is so horrifying, that detail about the story of fnaf has always been scarier than the gameplay of any of the games to me haha and I love how well this story describes the springlock failures both as how they work and how painful they are. Luca is also an incredibly beautifully written character. Seeing a lot of parallels to Charlie from the novel trilogy and Mike from the movie with how his nightmares about his friend are a leading contributor to his motives for his actions. I like how the lesson of this story is both "peer pressure is bad and don't give in to it. Also pedophiles are bad and deserve to be strangled to death." we love to see it Also something I noticed was that Asher is described nearly the same exact way that Gregory is in GGY ... hm
You know I thought when the story came out. When he puts on the spring-trap suit The negative energy possesses him and becomes like dr jekyll/Mr Hyde jackal story
Poor Luca didn’t realize his friends being freaks. And it’s definitely, definitely a BRILLIANT f**king idea to bring in a game a real springlock costume after these had already killed some people.
At least he got to be the hero in the end 😢 also his ‘friends’ were a-holes. In my mind I see Earls suit looking like the vr springtrap with the creepy smile and purple bow. Also I was worried when the first rustling of the back stage started I was scare he’d find his young friends corpse in a suit but then I remembered they said his body was found in the creek
It was actually really good! I would say that that's probably the best story in this book so far. Plus it has my name in it, but it's not good just because of that one reason. 9/10
Spoilers It would make sense then, that the suit was earls. At the beginning when Luca was putting the suit on, it was mentioned that it was slimy and crusty, like he recently murdered a kid in the suit.
I personally love your talking throughout. I have listened to many many of your audiobooks now, and i love your personality and commentary! You're a very fun gentleman and I hope to enjoy all your videos as they come out 🤗
Hey, 8:50, about disproving MatPat's theory because G Freddy's costume exists. Not actually, he doesn't mean that it's all purely gone, no MatPat said it several times that stuff from original games goes like a franchise IN the franchise, so characters are exist in media, but we can't be sure that they exist as real costumes, etc. There was Fredbear, Spring Bonnie, but the fact, that in the book people reffer to it as Golden Freddy and Springtrap, a nicknames from the games - makes it suspicious. So I think that MatPat's theory still has really nice aspects that let this franchise make a nice reset and make difference between upcoming stuff and old content and not contradict the story.
@@tamaritamarileonardo394 It doesn't though. There is no Golden Freddy in the game. Yes, there is Scraptrap but he looks far different than Springtrap. So the games itself still are games in the universe but something similar, what the programmer (help wanted) heard about, also happened to a degree. So the theory still works.
@@BlackCroft666 no what i'm trying to say is that the ending of fnaf 6 debunks the theory like wor an example in fnaf 6 the ending we litarely see the give gifts give live minigame from fnaf 2 in the ending which is really werd becouse isn't fnaf 2 meant to be a in-univers game like heck we even see a render from the puppet peaking out of the music-box and it's not from fnaf vr it's from the actuolly fnaf 2 game and we even see the hall-way from fnaf 1 in the ending as well wor a short time the same goes for the kid's cove room from fnaf 2 as well so yeah if thes games are meant to be in-univers games then why do we have screen-shots from them in fnaf 6 which keep in mind is NOT an in-univers game so yeah.
@@tamaritamarileonardo394 Well the argument is that even some aspects of Fnaf 6 are in universe a game and yet also true as well. My points is that in Fnaf 6 you see Scrap Baby being melted, but in Security Breach you find Circus Baby's mask in the blob, which is weird. Or instead of finding Molten Freddy's head on the blob it's Funtime Freddy's. One could argue it's an odd design choice, but it could be that in universe in reality some events played out differently than what we witnessed in Fnaf 6 in terms of Security Breach. "checking out a golden Freddy costume" I thought that was lion costume from that ending of ruin you know the one where you open the multiple doors and then you get to the room where you trapped the mimic with the lion costume on and the claw gets the mimic
I mean, the Golden Freddy cameo doesn't exactly mean that Golden Freddy exists, only that a golden-yellow Freddy animatronic existed, and most kids would know about Freddy, not exactly the other bear of the franchise, Fredbear
