- Hi everyone:) In this video I will show you one of my drawing studies - drawing of an eye, nose and lips, as a part of my practice, it is a great way to improve in drawing individual facial parts and make your final portraits look great! I will always start with practicing the basic outlines and then I will get to the shading part as well. I practice the facial features separately because it helps me to focus only on the concrete part of the face and I do not have to think about the placement or size in comparison with the other parts as I am trying to pay attention only to the object I am drawing.

You are a good person! You not only show us how to draw, but also that you should never give up. I used to throw my paintings in the bin because of small mistakes, but now I regret it. I personally think that drawing is always something to discover in a long process and journey, not something to be achieved in one certain period of time.

@@Sarah-vi6lb it's your choice but I love to practice and I am sure 1 day I also became an artist
I would only need tutorials to understand more. I wouldn't try to copy and paste but understand the relations between a real life observations and what they draw in the video, and then try to draw until I become satisfied rather than just looking and drawing
I've always been fascinated with drawings that have such high levels of realism.
It's like a whole new perspective.

I've never drawn a realistic nose or mouth before yet following along with you tips and guide lines I've drawn some pretty looking ones thanks
I've stopped drawing for years and years but I came back again , I was so lethargic and depressed because of not being able to draw creatively or properly so I was getting so fumed and very close to throw all my pencils and toss my papers into the bin , now I've become more determined and wanted so much to boost my drawing skills , great thanks for all artists out there who are helping us as beginners

I've watched this video for times. The first time I watched it I fell asleep then I watched it again for the same purpose cause I find her voice gentle and soothing, I feel like being hypnotized by her voice. You improve drew a bunch of great things and then you did a serious sketch and it went horribly wrong you lose motivation like me, i feel hopeless jhust because of that 1 failed sketch attempt.

I am an artist with no TH-cam channel in order to do that make a eye and draw a thick line into the side of an eye. Do it very smoothly then your finger is gonna rub the smooth line u make then its a show or shading
