I'll bring my Kanthanka next sesh and we can try them side by side :D Great video Joe! Keep creating excellent content for the people. Totally stoked Oden got in the video too
Great video, dropped a like. How would you set this up for a little more carve and a little less slide in a similar use case (free ride rather than techslide)? Would you ever consider a shorter wheelbase, or is turning on a 17” wb still pretty tight/responsive ?
So many parts and so many reasons, hopefully folks come away with some ideas for their own builds. I know I always learn something or have a hunch to try something a little different.
Honestly the most versatile board I know of I'm thinking the green Slidewinder with green g/slide wheels Newton skate used to sell these nice rkps that were 54/48mm(reversed hanger). The lowered height reduce the turn radius Also, imma pick up the pink and blue for display purposes
There's only one left at the skate one site...or that's what it says at least... There aren't a whole lot of hills where I live, downtown. The thing is, why can't there be like an 8 and a quarter double kick, that's like maybe 35 and a half, maybe 36? This one is like an 8.88"(8.9) at like 34.7", according to the site. But I have had some Powell decks that are not quite the stated size. Maybe somewhere down the length of it, but I would think you kinda measure at the trucks...am talking shaped decks, like the fun shapes, the cab shaped flight decks. And I've seen a frog " bamboo" Powell decks, I think? But it was even wider, and it didn't really have a nose.... Anyways an 8.25" by like 36" with an actual nose or double kick. Please, somebody make it.
I ❤❤❤ my slidewinder deck! Got the previous model in dark blue. It‘s sick and fun to ride. My choice is carver cx and in winter rainy germany oj mini super juice. 🧃
Benjamin Duerr rides these with rkps and goess wicked fast
We have an update coming...such a fun board to skate. He totally does and makes it look super fun, going to have to add it to the update!
JM DURAN is the best board ever. Nothing slides better.
Been loving it!!
