Los Lunas I-25 Interchange East-West Corridor

As one of the fastest growing communities in New Mexico, the Village of Los Lunas has experienced challenges to its transportation system, which is currently in need of critical improvements. Currently NM 6 (Main Street) is the only Interstate exit for Los Lunas and provides the only opportunity for Village and County residents to cross the Rio Grande. An additional I-25 Interchange and east-west transportation corridor will provide a secondary river crossing and help to significantly decrease congestion and address safety issues on NM 6.
