I haven't commited Zina and haven't drunk alcohol for years (since i found to Islam) but the desire to do it is very strong sometimes. How can I lose the desire? Im convinced that I will not act upon my desires but its still there.

Allah said in the Quran: Ali 'Imran - Verse 135 وَٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا فَعَلُوا۟ فَـٰحِشَةً أَوْ ظَلَمُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ ذَكَرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ فَٱسْتَغْفَرُوا۟ لِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَمَن يَغْفِرُ ٱلذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ وَلَمْ يُصِرُّوا۟ عَلَىٰ مَا فَعَلُوا۟ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ And those who, when they have committed Fahishah (illegal sexual intercourse etc.) or wronged themselves with evil, remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their sins; - and none can forgive sins but Allah - And do not persist in what (wrong) they have done, while they know.
Major sins like zina, drinking alcohol and murder do not take on out of the fold islam for simply doing them but they are major sins and one must repent sincerely if he does any of them

Their are two authentic opinions about the beard the first one is that to leave the beard alone and let it grow the second is that it is permissible to cut what exceeds a fist . The first opinion is more authentic and has authentic hadith to back it up so if you have a problem with that then kindly mind your own business

Their are two authentic opinions about the beard the first one is that to leave the beard alone and let it grow the second is that it is permissible to cut what exceeds a fist .
