I left just before the opening of the slavery memorial. Looks really beautiful. It's such an important addition to the city. It brings to light a vital history of Nantes that many are either not aware of or don't know much about. I was very happy to do some voiceover work for it, which plays over and over at the memorial apparently. I love knowing I was able to contribute to something so poignant, and that I've been sort of immortalised in connection with this awesome project. Whenever I manage to get back to Nantes for a visit, I'm definitely gonna make a beeline for the memorial.
