For the penguin & yeti pattern by Johannamigurumi: There's not a mistake in the pattern, turns out I just read the wing instructions wrong. I thought "FLO 3 SC" is 3 SC in 3 separate STs and I put all 3 SC into the FLO of 1 ST. That's the wrong interpretation, that part should be ready as FLO 3 SC into the next 3 STs, not all into 1 ST.
Great patterns. Thank you so much. I love all your videos. These are so wonderful . I really appreciate the free patterns. They are awesome. Can not wait to start. I think I shall start with the snowman 😊😊😊
Thank you so much for making these review videos. I especially liked the inclusion of the yarns you used (and hook sizes) and the way the plushies turned out in those yarns. I learned to crochet over 50 years ago and until now have never used greater than worsted weight. The world of chunky yarn is somewhat daunting for me. I have watched videos on hook sizes, yarn sizes, etc., but what I want is to see what the same pattern looks like finished in differing yarns and weights. I also like hearing about the yarns and which you feel works best with which pattern. You did these things and I applaud you for it. That being said, please continue to show what you made, the yarn and your opinions. You are so helpful with these pattern reviews!
Aww, thank you for your feedback! That is so helpful to me! I'm glad showing the patterns in different types of yarns is helpful for you too! I will keep doing that in future videos! Thanks for watching!
Thank you for reviewing these wonderful patterns for us! I’ve actually made some of them, too. I really appreciate you doing this, Cassie…it’s GOT to be a crap ton of work! I can only imagine. Regardless, thank you! Thank you! Thank you so much! ☺️🧡 xx
That's crazy! I made the meanie greenie pattern as well and used the same posh yarn with a size 5.5 hook and it turned out so different! Crazy how personalized crochet is! I also made one with the size 7 sweet snuggles yarn and the size difference was huge! You can see them on the thumbnail of the video I made if you're at all interested.
Thank you for sharing these. I want to try the penguin and reindeer. I use acrylic yarn a lot and "just chenille" from Dollar Tree and also the Hobby Lobby velvet yarn. Sometimes I use others but those are my most used.
Woolwarehouse have there own brand called yarnsmiths. Chenille chunky and snug a bug flurry chunky and snug a bug big. They are uk based but ship worldwide most of it is on a really good sale right now. The chenille comes in 50 shades 8 or 9 greens in that range. Well worth a try ❤

Big Twist is a great bargain! I still love how feathery soft Premier Parfait is though.

I'll have to check out your video! That's interesting that the yarn weight changed the look so much for that particular pattern!
