I’m number one 👍 again sitting at home waiting for my Transmission to be replaced by the Ford Dealership in Walnut Creek. And I love your junk Silver hunts 🤩💪🏁
My favorite videos are the junk silver hunts. One of these days a super rare coin is going to find its way through to junk silver and Rob is going to score big
Other than the metal detecting, pouring videos, hunting videos, these are my favorite videos hahahahaha. They are actually my favorite but, they are all my favorite cause Rob is my favorite!!
@@fl_ocks I just noticed Rob's metal detecting video from 2 weeks ago and once again I would've given him some static about rubbing the dirt off of silver coins 🤭
I went to the Carson City mint and museum while on vacation. Very cool, they still have the original minting machine and still use it from time to time.
ANY silver is GREAT silver.. Thanks Rob. BTW all that silver from back in the day, you had something, either the quarters, or dimes. Imagine what you could get for just one of them. No wonder they are very worn out.
I went to my first coin shop when i was was up in Washington DC, i also got to visit the Philadelphia Mint! Anyways, at the mint i bought a 2023-W Silver Eagle for $70ish (probably more), i'm thinking about sending it to PCGS to get it graded. should I send it in? also yesterday i found a 2020-W American Samoa quarter in my grandfather's change bag from the trip we took. Super lucky!
Hey Rob, great score on the fill/upgrades. These coins always remind me of what kind of history they've touched. Just knowing they may have once belonged to the real influencers of this country gives me chills. Keep it up brother, always appreciated!
Hey Rob… you see that stacker talked at the Tulsa show someone was selling a $500 face bag of Constitutional at 18x and nobody bought it as of Saturday evening!!!
Love the .900 content, cool finds for a small lot. Keeps me focused on US silver coins then rounds. Happy 4th to you. Gonna look at my US .900 coins tomorrow and try to appreciate things.
It was common to get Standing Liberty Quarters in change when I was a boy. Never got one with a full date. Rarely got one with even a partial date. Those millions made before they recessed the date in 1925 had long had the date worn off but still circulated. The recessed visible date post 1925 had been horded just as the Buffalo nickels that still circulated were all dateless. That was the late 1950's & early 1960's. When the clads appeared in 1965, all the silver coins and even those worn Buffalos disappeared in just a few months. My father said Indian head pennies circulated when he was a born. He was born in 1920.
Great and fun video!❤ Are there any helpful resources on grading coins. I know the Red Book gives some outline on how to grade a coin, but I find that it’s not very thorough and only covers certain grades.
Thanks for the fun video! What's a good price for constitutional silver? How do you figure going forward what's a good price to pay...is it tied to silver spot price-like 20% premium over sport for $1 FV?

I got to visit the old New Orleans mint and since it’s been shut down for years, one of the locals there said they were gonna destroy the building :( I was able to take an old piece of the concrete from the mint tho lol
Hey guys, How much is your local coin shop selling 1964 JFK's for? They seem to be climbing in price.......Franklins also......Any replies would be appreciated, thanks.
Hi, Rob. I have a question for ya. How do you get more experience with coin collecting? I am more of a beginner. I would like to get more serious with my collection. Just aking for your opinion.
Got a Question. I've got an Eisenhower dollar that came from a piece of jewelry. To make it look like shinier or like silver they painted or coated it with some sort of silvery paint or solder. It looks absolutely terrible. It was done in the late 70's. I'm guessing this was a common practice? Is it something that can be removed, or is this coin screwed?
May I ask, I heard you use the terms "Variety 1 and Variety 2", I don't believe I have ever heard you use that term before, what does that mean? Thank you.

That 1917 T1 SLQ looks like it’s from San Francisco? Nice find!!!!
It’s not. A little perfectly placed damage made it look like it.
Nice pickups!

Hey Rob, can you go over the telltale signs of a cleaned coin?
Hi, Rob. I have a question for ya. How do you get more experience with coin collecting? I am more of a beginner. I would like to get more serious with my collection. Just aking for your opinion.
A lot of research and studying. I have studied (almost daily) for the last 6 years.
@@RobFindsTreasure wow! Thats awesome. What kind of stuff do you study to begin with?
Great price sheesh

Hey rob! how much do you pay for constitutional silver? kinda curious how mine compares
Depends. Common stuff is usually in the 21-23x face value lately and the older stuff is about 24-24x
Silver is silver. Do you get to pick what you want sometimes? still can be expensive.
I need to get me some "junk" silver to hunt
Cool vid!! Where do u get your junk silver from?
May I ask, I heard you use the terms "Variety 1 and Variety 2", I don't believe I have ever heard you use that term before, what does that mean? Thank you.
Hey! Where do you find these bags of coins?
The 1917 SLQ is a San Francisco mint
It’s not. Just a little damage where the mm would be.
Day of asking what that massive coin is on the back of your desk, and if you will make a short on it.
✌️
👍👌
so what did you pay $28.45 face Value ,So how much that come out to?
Pleasd tell us how to get such a good deal for the junk silver
