I've been nothing but happy. I have a couple that have been running for years.... straight, 24/7. lol. Still working like the day I bought them. Cheers :)
I just grabbed some of the oscillating fans and a new tent and extracting fan to go along with the two I already have! love their gear cant wait to set it up!! Sweet video as always brother!!
I had two betas and there was an issue with resistance from the side of the tent stripping the teeth of the oscillating gear. It was reported to their developers and the production unit is more robust. Tent suction is something to be conscious of. Thank you for your comment :)
I can't wait for that to show up. You'll be in heaven. Those lights are really easy to set-up too. Very simple, I'll have a video coming out soon for the G8600 light. Have fun! :)
Hi Chad! I'm considering buying the AC Infinity S6 for a 2.3 x 2.3 x 6 tent. The S4 would be the recommended size for this tent. Currently I can get the S6 for the same price as the S4. I would like the fan to be as quiet as possible. Would the S6 be more quite because I don't have to run it at high RPM in comparison to the S4? Or do you think the S6 would be overkill and unnecessary for this tent size? Thanks!
Yes, you have nailed it. The S6 will be quieter because you can run it at lower speeds. I would choose the S6 because it also gives you the ability to upgrade to a larger tent in the future without needing to buy another inline fan. I always suggest to buy more than you currently need, if possible. Good luck and have fun :) I do have a discount code to save you 10% on the order. Just use WESTPORT at check out. Cheers!
I always recommend hanging fans because it helps reduce vibration. If you are trying to be stealth, but have it mounted to the wall in your apartment, trust me, the neighbors hear it. Cheers :)
If you are actively pumping air into the tent, I would definitely recommend a HEPA filter on intake. Carbon filter can help, but it isn't nearly as effective. Thank you for your question. Cheers :)
Just a heads up...my walls got sucked in pretty good and my fan couldn't rotate fully and now it makes a hellava racket if I have it on oscilate..but other that luv their fans
Very true. This is the main thing to be cautious of when using these fans. Some tents have bars in the middle that prevent the tent from sucking in. That is a great solution to this issue, but it is something extra. Thank you for sharing your experience. Cheers :)
Thanx for the vid and info my brotha. Do you have any recommendations for a dehumidifier that is actually worth an eff??? I currently use a 68oz Lononen, but even in sleep mode its lit up like the 4th of July. Thx again.
What is the size of the space? Are you looking for very silent? I've tried all types of small units and nothing does the job. I have a portable dehumidifier I bought at Home Depot like 8 or 9 years ago. I use that to keep the lung room proper and that helps with the humidity in the tents. Cheers :)
I have this exact setup, Question: I plan on putting the inline fan/filter combo outside the tent, pulling air out of the tent and pushing into the filter. Are they still good with being put outside the tent? Ty
Yes, that will work as well. It is more common to suck the air through the filter than to blow it through the filter, but it accomplishes the same function. Just be sure the filter can exhaust a rate of air similar to what you are pumping in. That would be a factor of CFM. Great gear, enjoy!
Hi Chad. Just ordered a T6 for my 4 x 4 but concerned that as I live in a hot country, it may be a little too noisy when fully ramped up. Would it be worth stepping up to the T8 do you think? or would that be excessive? Thank you in advance
I generally have my T6 set at 2 of 10 to cycle the air in my tent. Your lung room temp will be important, but I think you will OK. The T8 does offer a bit more CFM, but it could be a bit of overkill. Thank you for the question :)
I seem to have issues with AC products. Customer service is top notch but I've had issues with 4 different products. 4" carbon filter leaked light and odor. S6 fan was really loud and rough ovulation. 4x4 tent has light leaks casting beams of light thru and around the zipper. all products have been replaced but the new S6 fan is still a bit choppy. I would rather have outstanding products and decent customer service rather than the other way around. When it’s time for replacements, I will be looking elsewhere likely.
I can't fault you for wanting what you want, it's reasonable to me. That is a bummer to hear. I don't know the reason why that is but it does seem like a rarity. Thank you for sharing your experience. Cheers :)
@@ChadWestport I can understand one or maybe even 2 products being acceptable but to have problems with 4 separate items... Perhaps I need to use your code when ordering to get solid product, lol. Do you think it's because it's ordered thru Amazon they're defective?
@@odannyboy7735 I always go factory direct. Its hard to say the level of care the middleman or amazon employess give the products. My guess is not as good as the employees at AC Infinity. I've not had the same issues.

That is cool you have been using their gear too. I've been satisfied for a long time and don't plan on switching until given a compelling reason. Thank you for your comment :)
Curious if you have been running the S6 with oscillation 24/7. AC Infinity says not to. From page 18 of the manual: "Leaving the oscillation activated for more than 24 hours at a time may reduce the lifespan of your clip fan."
Good eye, yes I did read this too. Makes me wonder if they encourage using two fans and alternating the hours they are off. Like 99% of the growers out there, I'm using it 24/7. It's been about 8 months or so since I got the beta units, they've been running 24/7. Thank you for the question and I can appreciate a person who reads the entire manual like myself. Kudos :)
Thank you for asking. If referring to the fan, there are little arrows on it that show the path of airflow. If asking about the carbon filter, growers have had it on either end. I prefer to suck tent air into the carbon filter and then exhaust out..... but I have also pulled air out of the tent into the filter. Essentially, is it suck through or blowing out. Both can be right answers. I prefer to suck the air through, but whatever works best in your situation is a good answer. I hope that helps. Cheers :)
The strap that you threw they don't know what is for it's it's to hold the filter up with the metal strap the metal strap goes to tighten up the filter and the other strap that you don't know what it does holds up the filter
I like to look at things on a "dollar a day" scale. I'm frugal, don't enjoy spending money, but if I can get something and it continues to work until I pay only $1 per day to use it before it dies, then to me, it is worth the initial investment. I have some of these fans running 24/7 for years. So I feel good knowing I got my money worth. Cheers :)
Great tip, thank you! I tend to run shorter plant, so I've been able to get away with its positioning in the middle above the light. But if I ran more of the longer flowering varieties, that would be a great way to increase space between the light and canopy. Cheers :)
Always good content from Chaaad! I run AC infinity fans also, no problems so far.

genius hack for hanging that fan!
Thank you! I try and be resourceful and those hanging wires work perfect for the job. I'm glad you were here to watch this. Cheers :)
That strap is supplied to support your filter to the pole.
Also put your clamps on the filter before slipping together, then wrap with "duct" tape

if you put everything by side or in a corner you get mor hight out of your tents. or better put it in a box next to your tent and let it suck through
