After all surviving soldiers evacuated, some civilians that were hiding realised that no one was coming to save them....they were stuck there forever with no hope , they could only embrace the fact that they were left behind by the fallen soldiers . They can only go around the empty city finding resources . Poor guys , every civilians / survivors from countries fighting desperately to live and not trying to give up hope , some surrendered to the blight/sygdom , some ended themselves because they couldnt bear the pain , some just waited out their deaths...
