- In memory of Legend Junior Nkuhuma. This was the last time we saw all 7 lion cubs together. In recent events, the koppies pride lost 2 cubs and 1 lioness, and now Junior himself. R.I.P big boy
Junior of the Nkuhuma pride and buddy his partner is looking over the koppies pride. They will have a very hard time growing up with all the strong lion prides around the area.
This was a special moment as the previous night they were attacked and that morning during this video we saw all of them back together safe.

In memory of the koppies pride, Recently 2 cubs were killed and 1 lioness. This was the last time we saw all 7 of the cubs together. This pride will be followed by me in hopes that all 5 other cubs make it to adulthood. I will keep you updated as time goes on. Thank you for the support and please remember to subscribe. :)

Ohh my babies!!😭😭😭 Nature is so cruel sometimes! Here, all the 7 cubs were together with the 2 Moms 😭😭😭. This was the they after the Maribi pride chased them... RIP sweethearts 💔

@@kevinstandow2943 the sad part about that his companion buddy also died because junior was not there to protect and feed him and junior also died during his prime years

Thank you! Very sad news indeed. I was avoiding it yesterday. Will be a hard time catching up on the pride knowing his gone. I will search for his legacy and make sure to film them.

In nature lion have incredible capabilities to recover from injury, I hope junior will be alright and other lioness and five Cubs will survive. Glad to see them together.

Junior Nkuhuma, one of the most famous lions in Kruger, grandson of the giant Skybed males. There is footage of him with his fathers - Hairy Belly and Ginger Matimba when he was a subadult, and he was the same stature as them. The lions that head west out of Timbavati are often bigger and more dominant over those they encounter in Manyeleti and Sabi Sands, and you can see those Timbavati genes in Junior.
Impressive male lion indeed! He will be remembered for a very long time!

What a handsome lion. I remember that one sighting when he was trying to take out a buff. Everytime the buffalo would start to lose consciousness he would release the windpipe. I think he was torn between the buff and his pride sisters he was a huge lion with a full mane at a young age. Definitely a rock star. Its so tough for single male lions. Junior i took a liking to i really miss that lion. Rip junior.

@@Everseenafrica Wouldn't it be safer to put a fence around the human camp so the lions don't 'surprise' anyone with their entrance?
It could be but in the other side of that then they fence down animals even more. People that come here understand that this area is not safe to walk around just by yourself and need to have qualified person with you all the time. We enjoy bringing our guests here and we often have lions in the camp but we always keep a safe distance

The law of non-intervention must at least be amended in accordance with the fact that the number of the lion is seriously decreasing, and that non-intervention is limited to cases of hereditary diseases and severe physical disability. Either assistance in cases of starvation or serious injuries to a healthy lion is required.The death of a junior will clearly lead to the death of the five cubs because there is no protection for them due to the law of non-intervention to save those who protect them, so the death of a junior will not be alone but with five cubs

The non interference policy is illogical when lions fight so many things other situations that are from humans. Kruger Park tries to help as many as they can with DSWT. One life-saving shot is nothing and it would have kept a champion, dominant lion alive. I am very disappointed with the leadership in SA. Don't they see the connections and the urgency?
I have no idea what the South Africans think of this but its sad that we could do anything to help junior

I know it’s a total shot in the dark but are there any updates on the one lioness that survived and took the 5 cubs with her? It’s such a sad story for this pride and my heart breaks over and over when old videos of them are recommended 💔. R.I.P to all that are no longer with us and 🙏🙏🙏 to the lone lioness & the 5 cubs...I know it’s wishful thinking on my part that they survived.

Naturally salted water. They are in the bush so not allowed to have Chlorine in the water.
