Love to see you getting around our beautiful country. One day I'll explore the south island. The history up at Denniston is fantastic. There is an awesome film on utube by the New Zealand Film Unit, Memory Lines that shows Denniston in it's hey days. Awesome to watch. And to think the only way up to or down from Denniston was to ride the coal wagons. Must have been amazing. Keep up the good work. Love the channel
@@4x4overlandingandotheradve28 I did the whole Coromandel last xmas. Went up to Port Jackson, did the Tapu Coroglen Rd. Spent a whole week there. Did just over 800ks.
G’day brother, if you get the chance, that road you were on goes all the way through to the Iron bridge at Lyell. Shot my first deer in there in 1996 😊 Good to see you out and about mate.
Thank you for the comment. I was alone and it had been raining so I chickened out at the river crossing. I hope to get back in December with a lot more time.
We have always found old mines interesting to wander around. History rusting away

Thanks Brett. I spent the weekend exploring Port Jackson and Fletcher Bay on Coromandel. Overlanding not 4x4 and rain, rain, rain again.
